I love it here! The food is always great (even the gluten free bread)! The specialty coffee drinks are great. I had a Go Green smoothie for the first time the other day, it was so good!

I needed a breakfast stop on my way between two appointments and Google suggested this place. I wanted to like this place more than I did. It is this nifty little spot complete with a drive thru and everything is made fresh to order. They have seasonal teas and flavors that make you want to be a regular. The staff is friendly and kind and the atmosphere isn't too hipster for a spot like Berry Hill. In short, they are doing all the right things, yet I still couldn't give them 5 stars.
The tea was boiling hot. Even with a second cup and a cup liner I had to wait until after I finished eating to taste it, and it was surprisingly bland for hot Apple pie (a seasonal herbal tea). I expected it to be a little sweet. this was more spice than apple.
That seemed to be the trend because the Apple turnover I ordered was more phyllo than filling, and it was served room temp, right out of the rack. Even though i ordered in, it was bagged to go. It didn't seem to be any different than the day old pastries they had sitting in a basket right next to the fresh ones. Plating it would have been a nice touch, considering that I have to bus my own dishes anyway.
I also ordered the breakfast burrito in a bowl. It tasted fine and the presentation was pretty, but when I cut into it, it wasn't a scramble, but more like they baked the egg right in the ramekin with the veggies, meat, and cheese on top. So the flavors weren't really combined and there was a lot of egg left at the bottom of the "bowl". The portion also seemed a little small for the price. Glad I ordered the turnover or I would have still been hungry.
Again, the food was fine, just a little less than I expected for what you experience as you enter the place. And I will likely return because it is on my commute route. but I probably wouldn't go out of the way to find this place and next time I'll pick up the day old pastries to save a few bucks instead.

Sweet, no frills coffee shop in Berry Hill. I like working here on occasion, and like that they keep coconut milk. Coffee is great and they have seasonal herbal teas that I always appreciate. Also, they have tasty simple breakfast sandwiches and gluten free bread. =)

My kind of place! It's a cute little hipster coffee shop that serves food and baked goods as well. I got the peanut butter banana wrap and it was amazing! My friend got salmon on a bagel and it disappeared in seconds so I assume it was good! We also took some selections from the bakery to go.
If you are female, definitely check out the women's bathroom while you are here. It has a mural painted inside showing powerful women from the past up to the present. I wish I had gotten a photo!

Wow the dirty chai latte was out of this world! It's so hard to find a good chao tea. The grasshopper latte was great as well. Staff were very friendly and service was fast. Will definitely be back!

I ordered an oat milk chai latte and granola wrap from Postmates from here. I loved it so much I came in the next morning (Sunday). Great menu with lots of options. Creative, delicious coffee. Most reviews were about the atmosphere and I agree with them. I came to find out if I could do work here. There is wifi. But there aren’t accessible outlets. So come with full batteries. Lots of patio seating, too, for good weather.

This is arguably my favorite breakfast in Nashville. Quick, easy, and tasty; every time. I try to steer clear of sweetened coffee drinks, but I'm a little addicted to the Honeybee latte.
Also, the text message ordering is great!

I would have to agree with Ashley. I live right around the corner. I’ve come in many times, give people the benefit of a doubt, maybe they’re just having a bad day. But you’re in customer service as well. There is one continuous person that is just unfriendly and unhelpful every time. Major lack of any energy or a smile. This week was the last time. It’s like being in a bad relationship, time to move on. There’s another bagel shop around the corner with much more appreciation. I tried, you all didn’t.

Y'all this is such a great coffee shop! The barista was so nice and friendly. I asked her which fall latte was her favorite and she said The Great Pumpkin so I decided to give it a go. I got it with oat milk (A+ for stocking oat milk btw!) And this latte was hands down so amaze! I love coffee and especially trying all kinds of hot pumpkin lattes in the fall but this was by far the best I've had this year. That's really saying something, I mean if you saw what I spend on coffee this time of year...
Anyways! Amazing coffee, quick service, great character and a wonderful barista.
Also the vibe of the actual shop is just as cool. It has a nice cozy feel with an almost a-frame cabin look to it. LOVE.
Would highly recommend, wish we had one of these in my town.

What an amazing place...It has a life-giving, vibrant vibe that is peaceful, whimsical and warm! You can stay for hours to catch up or pop in briefly, but it's always the same-- an oasis, haven, a place where you can just be! They have a kindhearted, quirky, unique and fun staff!
There are wonderful hot and cold teas drinks, etc and great food options! Whether you are on the go or just want to stay a while, it is a hidden treasure trove in Nashville, I've been going to for years!!!! I always hear stories, memories of how people met, connected and were inspired at Sam and Zoe's!
