Bluff City Coffee & Bakery

Great place, food, and coffee! Stopped with several people. The breakfast sandwiches and pastries were very tasty. The drip coffee and mocha were satisfying. Also the cookies were delicious. Thanks for being patient with the large order!

We’re visiting from out of town and wanted to try something other than Starbucks. Unfortunately I wish we didn’t. 40$ for decent coffee and at least two day old muffins. The reason I chose this location instead of waiting for other shops to open is because of the freshness that’s advertised. We walked in right as they opened and the only thing I smelled was a stale building. (That should’ve said it all) So I asked if the muffins were fresh, she said yes. After purchasing I noticed an ant on the bottom shelf of the display case crawling across a food item. But I told myself the muffins were just placed in there and things happen. Well now I’m sure the ant was in there due to everything being left in there overnight. You know that scene in Charlie’s Angels where she can make a hole is the wall with her muffins? That’s what I would compare these to…anyway the coffee isn’t bad so that’s why I gave an extra star. I would’ve had more respect for the business if she’d just been honest and said the muffins were leftovers from the weekend.

Visiting from St Louis Mo. Had to stop in for an amazing cup of Joe and dessert. Very friendly.

My favorite coffee shop in the city! The white chorale mocha is really good and I love the baked goods and breakfast sandwiches! Everything is always so fresh!

Really nice coffee shop in Memphis. Staff is accodating to what you order and pastries were all good. Ate breakfast here 3 times in 3 days, so you might make it back.

Great little bakery near Central Station Memphis hotel. They have giant biscuits and really good veggie sausage. My vegan husband was delighted. I got a veggie sausage, egg and cheese biscuit. It was a lot to eat and super good. We plan to come back tomorrow, because I want to sample a danish or a muffin.

Stopped here on our way through town. Very friendly staff, and everything was delicious. I can’t wait to try the house made pop tarts.

Nice people, bad food. I had chicken salad sandwich on a croissant and a chocolate chip cookie. The sandwich was "pretty good" if I were eating in an airport. The cookie was genuinely terrible. I could not finish it. With all due respect, I do not understand why this place gets good reviews.

Got the chance to come up here on my way to Nashville. Had the Haley's Comet. This drink is comprised of Caramel Apple Chai, Espresso and Milk! Great drink!

DO NOT GO HERE if you want to sit at a coffee shop with your laptop and get some work done. You know, what many people usually go to a coffee shop for. It's July 2022 and they won't allow laptops because of covid. You are allowed to sit down WITHOUT a laptop, but not with one. Have you ever heard of anything less scientific?! They literally told me I had to put my laptop away. Complete nonsense. Don't waste your money.
