Very good but cost as much as Starbucks. The inside is massive so plenty of room without feeling like you're rubbing elbows with someone else! The people are awesome! Only thing I would request is a bigger size coffee🤣

Drove up from Knoxville after seeing a post from a friend about this coffee shop. Love the history behind it. This roastery and coffee shop are housed in a beautiful, spacious building with a meeting space and lots of seating throughout. I will say a Saturday morning is very busy as there was quite a line the whole time we were there. Not sure if some of the things we noticed were just to make things move quicker during the busy times or if they're regular practice. Approaching the bar we see a nice sized espresso machine with possibly 4 group-heads. However, shots were being pulled from an automatic system on the back counter. They did use the espresso machine to steam milk themselves. This goes to my wondering if they just use the auto-shot system during busy times and the actually espresso machine during non-busy times, or if it's there just for looks and steaming milk, which seems like such a waste of this size espresso machine.
One thing I did note, though, is that they still should be doing quality checks on what their automatic machine is pulling. I'm sure with an automatic machine their thought is that it does everything for you, set it and forget it. I would think that the system would be adjustable to make sure the perfect shot is being pulled. The shots were slightly bitter, though.
The cinnamon roll was unremarkable. Being told there was a microwave to heat it up would have been helpful. The up side, though, was their burrito wrap was pretty good.
We didn't want to wait in the line to place an order to try the coffee, and then have to wait in the line again if we wanted to buy a bag after trying it. So, we went ahead and grabbed a couple of bags. If we hadn't have done it this way we probably wouldn't have bought bags separately. Hoping the drip at home and manually pulled espresso shots will make a difference, though.
All in all, not worth the 30 minute drive out.

Waited about 25 mins after paying for a frappe. Wife and I had about 45 mins to get coffee together, waited 10 mins in line, they apparently forgot my order and killed any free time we had. Don’t go unless you have TIME to spare

4.5 Stars but being picky. I usually go to Honeybee in South Knoxville
I got the thunderhead latte. (Thunderhead Espresso, steamed milk, local honey, nutmeg, and cinnamon) I replaced milk for oatmilk. I highly recommend it. I must’ve came during a big rush and it was very busy. Still got my coffee quickly with no hassle.
The atmosphere of the establishment is very nice. Artwork on the walls and plenty of seating.
A couple things I’d like if they had macadamia milk and some sort of brown sugar flavoring.

Good coffee, but…
Extremely, incredibly slow service. We can’t be expected to wait 15 minutes to order, then another 10 to be served a simple coffee, especially with 4 employees dedicated to only preparing coffees and taking orders. Also, lengthy chit-chatting with customers is nice but not when there are 9 people waiting in line…
Basically, while coffee preparation time is fine, the bottle neck is in the time taking orders. This would enable people to obviously get their orders faster, and also avoid standing in line for 15 minutes when they could be sitting down and waiting for their coffees

It's alright. I want to love it, I really do. The coffee is decent in the morning when it's fresh, but anytime I've been after 10:00 am or so, it's been a carafe of lukewarm, meh coffee.
Also, make sure you check your order if you drive through. I've ordered the yogurt parfait, and it always comes in a little white bag, didn't think anything of it today. Got my stuff as per usual, drove to work, got into the office and the yogurt parfait looked suspiciously like some kind of muffin.
