Mimi's Cafe

After waiting for over an hour… My husband and I were in town for class and decided to stop in for dinner around 8 o’clock on a Saturday night. I ordered a drink the have advertised and I was told they lost there liquor license back in August. This was not a deal breaker, but why advertise something you cannot sale?
I then tried to order a frappe and was told the machine was broken.
I then just ordered a water and went to place my food order for the chicken. The waitress asked me to hold on and then came back to tell me they were out of chicken.
My husband went to order the special they had advertised and we were once again told they were out of the food. The restaurant was not prepared at all for a Saturday night and they need to update the menu to reflect the items they can not legally sale.
I would rate this with negative stars if I could!

The food is very good. Friendly staff. We received a free muffin as a first time customer.

Food quality is decent, but not for the price. This used to be a cheaper option for a good burger and fries. A drink, burger and fries are over 20$. The fries are not as generous as they used to be either. It’s okay if you just really want they product, but there are cheaper and better options.

Service was very slow and food was not appetising. 2 of us sent our food back. Manager said regular cook had a family emergency.

A bit pricey, but it's still good. Their orange juice is freshly squeezed, and their waffles are amazing.

Cooper our server was outstanding when it comes to customer service he is the Definition of it food was excellent 👍👍and congratulations to him and his fiance

Wonderful food with a nice atmosphere and nice place to enjoy each other's company.

It is always good company when you're Mimi's. Sad to say with our economy I can no longer afford to go there.

Wonderful salmon ,best I ever ate. Cool atmosphere. Staff was excellent.

Good flavors. Good service. The kitchen really skimps on sauce and sides. I got a very small handfull of fries and then my Au Jus cup was only enough for half the sandwhich. Then the bread pudding had a very light drizzle whiskey sauce. Should not have to ask for extra service with a meal at Mimi's.
