Mimi's Cafe

This is a very nice place to eat breakfast and brunch. The food was good and hot. Quite pricey though but this is the norm these days every where! I recommend it.

Let me start by saying that the service was exemplary. However, I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was completely mediocre, bordering on bad. The chicken was dry and tough and the waffles unremarkable. I would have done bette had I gone to Bojangles for some tenders and then to Waffle House for some waffles, and took it home.

I had the quiche and it was amazing! Can't wait to go back and try some other goodies from the menu.

I always enjoy the food and experience at Mimi's. Their breakfast food is excellent, especially the waffles and crepes.

Amazing stop on our trip back from Pigeon Forge. Daughter got the crepes and they were the best thing we ordered. I got the stuffed pain and husband got the quiche Lorraine. Every single bite was overwhelmingly flavorful and well prepared. Service (our server was Sheryl) was beyond friendly. They gave us muffins and even ran out to the car when we forgot some sunglasses. Really confused about why it only has four stars.

Good food, enjoyable environment and the fact that breakfast is served all day makes it an enticing place with the kids.

Delicious food and the service was great. Always like trying something new here. The only thing is they stopped giving the Madelines out. Loved those little things.

Stopped for brunch on a monday! Was seated quickly. Very friendly staff and the quiche served was fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend!!

We were pleasantly surprised at Mimi's Cafe. It was an hour before closing but the host and waitress seems very happy we had come in. The food came promptly, was hot and tasted great. Their muffins are very good~made fresh everyday and served warm with whipped butter. We tried the blueberry and the buttermilk muffins. Yum! They serve breakfast all day and that's what we all ordered. From pumpkin pancakes to omelets, it was all delicious. We will definitely return.

Update: Emailed the restaurant more than a week ago as suggested in the owner's response. Haven't heard a word back. Terrible customer service.

Had dinner at Mimi's tonight and it was my worst dining experience in the past several years. We will never go back again.
After waited for 25 minutes to be seated, we waited for another 15 minutes to order drinks. For the meal, we ordered two steaks to be cooked to medium but they came out more like well-done and were flavorless. I don't think I have ever had any steak this bad in my life and each costs more than $30 with tax and tip included. In addition, one of the entrees and two of the sides were wrong. We received minimal services during the two hours we were there: we were not asked how we liked the food or if we need refill. To be fair, the waitresses were extremely busy and tried their best to do their job, so it was definitely not their fault.
The meatloaf is good as well as the French pot roast, but the portion is small.
The management needs to reconsider the staffing level. I would not recommend going there unless you are the only customer in the restaurant.
