The Coffee House at Second and Bridge

Local roasted coffee with house-made baked goods goods and food. Enjoy the cute atmosphere inside, murals, plants, and decor, or enjoy swinging on the porch or sitting outside in the sun.

Enjoyed this place for breakfast. Love the tons of little rooms and sitting spaces.

But the crowning achievement is the crepe. The crepe itself is the best I have had. I have been to Tandem in Greenville and all over Paris.

But here in Franklin Tennessee is my current world champion (shown is the Quattro formaggio)

The food and drinks are delicious! The variety of rooms inside allows for a more intimate or group setting depending on where you sit. I'd recommend this shop to any coffee drinkers in or visiting the area.

I absolutely loved the porch with swing. There's plenty of seating indoors and out. They did an excellent job of keeping the character of the old building when converting. Staff was friendly and quick.

I so wanted this to be my new go to restaurant. It’s so cute and has a great atmosphere, but I was sadly disappointed by the food and drinks.

I had a hot chocolate to start, and it was watery. The chocolate flavor that did come through was bitter and unpleasant.

The breakfast burrito was also disappointing. While there was sausage in the first two or three bites, the rest was just egg wrapped in a tortilla, with what tasted like old salsa as a side.

I was most looking forward to trying the nutella strawberry crepe, and while I thought they did a great job with the amount of whipped crème, the strawberries in the crepe were browning and old. The nutella was hard to taste as the dark chocolate syrup drizzled on top of the crepe took over the flavor of everything else.

Service was nice and so friendly, just wish the food had been better, especially for the price.

Love their blueberry,lemon crepe,avacado toast and chicken salad! Coffee really good too! Fun hang out enviroment!

This is my favorite coffee spot in all of Franklin. It felt like a second home to go in and do morning work, or just catching up with friends. It is a renovated house that still has all it's characteristics and charm from all those years ago(can't remember when it was exactly built, 1800s???). I always get a mug of the drip coffee (that comes with a free refill!) and anything from their bagels, to crepes, to sandwiches, you'll never go wrong with whatever you pick! Not to mention their staff is always friendly and welcoming. The Coffee House will always have a piece of my heart.

I used to love this place but not anymore.
While the coffee is good the kitchen is a mess.
I ordered food online for pickup. I ordered it at 11:20 am, pickup time was 11:45. I show up late at 11:55 to pick up my food and it still isn’t ready. 10 mins of standing there they bring it out. The staff did not include a fork, so I had to run back and ask for one. “$16 worth of food” and this is what I got. Scrambled eggs that looked like a crepe, and one piece of toast cut in half. I wish I had just gone to a truck stop for lunch. This is ridiculous.

Franklin is a very cool fun town. If your visiting Nashville I would recommend visiting Franklin TN.

This little coffee shop is amazing! It has a wonderful small atmosphere with local art posted. I am not a huge coffee person, but I really enjoyed their ice coffee with almond milk. Also, you CANNOT go wrong with their lox and eggs! It was truly delicious and came out very fast. This is a perfect cozy little place to get just coffee or grab grab food. Indoor seating and a little bit of outdoor seating if the weather permits.
