I had the Apple Kombucha and the Cajun Salmon Tacos for lunch and I loved them both. I also liked the vibe and the layout. I'll definitely be coming back to try some other items on the menu.

Visiting and I was told this restaurant was good. When I arrived over half of the menu was unavailable so unfortunately, I was unable to try anything that I wanted. They have several pages on the menu for different meal times, but the staff informed me that only dinner was available because it was later which would've been totally fine if there was anything in stock. If you're this busy and popular with specific items or "all entrees" maybe stock more so you're not out halfway through dinner. Wish I could've had an opportunity to try anything that I wanted. I would give it another shot because I have celiac, but I'm worried that this might be a daily issue if you run your inventory margins that close to the point of selling out multiple items daily.

*The owners seem fairly reactive/immature if they respond to my review to the point of writing multiple statements in caps to make sure I could hear their typing and casually insulting me at the end. Incredibly professional. I never once complained about staffing issues, unless you consider your ingredients part of your staff. If you're so short staffed maybe PAY people more so you can have that issue resolved because you're PRICES should definitely be able to support that. Anyways, I hope they can take constructive criticism in the future about not being able to enjoy over 60% of the menu being non-optimal for a dinner experience. Sorry if that doesn't make sense to you 🤷...

Protip: Clearly inform patrons what food is no longer available before being denied 3 separate times and than being shown.

Amazing restaurant with really kind and caring staff. I'm seeing some bad reviews on here and I'm absolutely shocked! Been going to Herban for years and have seen them grow from a small restaurant into what they are today. Really great food and its low stress knowing how much care they put into sourcing healthy and CLEAN ingredients. Not like the other "organic" "healthy" restaurants that use ingredients full of other garbage. Big fan of this place, and the brunch is the best part!

An excellent spot for breakfast and lunch with plenty of seating and some excellent market options to bring something home. The service is excellent and there is plenty of space inside and out to sit and enjoy your meal. The prices are a little high but that is to be expected for the area. Overall a very nice spot with good food.

Every single time we visit family in Nashville, we drive 20+ minutes out of our way to stop at Herban Market. The food is incredible- they do not mess around when it comes to quality. Everything is organic, locally sourced, and made in house. The Turkey Melt 2.0 was delicious! The coffee also deserves an honorable mention— very much enjoyed the bold flavor profile.

Initially I was very excited to eat at this place. Awesome vibe. Everything was advertised for quality. My whole family and I ate here and had a very similar experience. Everything was OK. Like it wasn’t bad food, but it wasn’t very good. You looked at it and it looked amazing and then when you started eating it wasn’t that good. Pretty much every dish lacked in flavor or had something a little off. My husband and I paid $50 after tip for the two of us so I had higher hopes for the food itself. If I came back it would probably be for coffee and their little shopping area but I probably wouldn’t get food again.

Also apparently the outdoor picnic tables are “reserved for to-go orders”. So that was interesting considering there was nothing anywhere to tell you that.

Yesterday we purchased a few items and a latte. Alex was our cashier. As he was helping us, Alex quietly informed us that we were in the wrong place in line to checkout. He said just stay here this time, but we would know what to do for future reference. We had been standing next to the counter for a few minutes checking out the flavors of the drinks before we ordered. After a lady picked up her drink, we stepped up and ordered with no one behind us which seemed like the logical thing to do. The other line to our far left had a group of people ordering food while looking at a menu. Wasn’t there another place for ordering “just food” near the baked goods case on the restaurant side? There was no one there at the left register just minutes before. If there is a specific place to stand, Where are the signs that inform you what to do?
My question is- is there a right or wrong way to line up at two cash registers that are near each other? My thinking is that you pick wherever you want to checkout just like you’re at a grocery store— which you are! I told Alex I’d never been told that before by anyone the many times we were visiting Herban Market. Perhaps a “ONE Line Only!” sign would help!
We were not trying to cut in line and it seemed a bit insulting to us.

Organic restaurant, wine bar, coffee shop, olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting bar, and grocery market all in one! You can sit indoors, outdoors, or take your food to go. The food and items are carefully sourced and food is great quality. I personally appreciate the macadamia nut milk availability at the coffee bar. The tacos are amazing, salads, pizza, and frozen wine at the bar!

I love eating at this place when I’m in Franklin. They are super busy, so I’ll order online sometimes to decrease the extended wait time. I WISH they had gluten-free pancakes because I would eat pancakes when I go there. Hopefully they will add it in the future.🙏
