The Pour House Restaurant

My husband and I really enjoy going out to eat here. The wait staff is always friendly, and the food is always really good. The last time we went, we paid for an extra side of fries that our almost two year old ate maybe three of. If there was a more kid friendly menu, we would definitely make it an option more often.

Outstanding food and service! The new location is cool, spacious and very clean. The build your own sushi bowl was a big hit with hubby and I enjoyed the boneless wings, crispy and not at all greasy! Loved the Calfkiller mustard dip, too. We definitely give this place 2 thumbs up! 👍👍

Always a pleaser! Food and service are very good. Last visit for lunch I had the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp, excellent! My friend had the fried shrimp PoBoy which she said was excellent as well. Nice venue and location.

We ate there Monday night. We ordered the hamburger of the month excellent & a pork chop sandwich my husband who is very picky Loved it. The Ceasars salads dressing was homemade & once again hubby said the very best he has ever had. I HAD THE BRUSSEL SPROUT as a side my goodness a big bowl of some of the best veggies I ever had, a meal in itself.. our waiter was so friendly made sure we had water & keep checking on us to make sure all was well.. we told him to tell the Chef we were blown away how great everything was. The prices were good we decided to stay in town a few extra days so we could go back & dine there again.

Unique menu without being over the top, good prices, good vibe atmosphere. PH Bowl was yummy

Positive: clean and covid compliance.
Negative: servers don't acknowledge you and not to friendly, we ordered boneless wings and the Cuban with homemade chips that were way over cooked and way over priced. It's called the poor house I get it now I do not highly recommend this place. Small portions over cooked and over priced!!

The restaurant has been completely gutted and redone. As would be expected, dining is in the bar area with a high ceiling.. Atmosphere is pleasant, but Covid guidelines are not being followed. Tables are not spaced and none of the staff is masked. Admittedly, mixed with signals are circulating about safety, but I mention these things so you can decide on the importance. We had heard that the fish and chips were very good, so that's what we ordered. The fries were good , but the batter fried fish was disapointing. The fish was mushy and didn't taste like the cod I've had in other restaurants. The batter was crisp, but I didn't care for the flavor. Other menu items are mainly Cajun or Asian. The waitress we had was very efficient and checked on us regularly. I only hope that she's being paid well enough to afford jeans without holes in the knees. :-)

We had the burgers. They were okay. They would have been much better if they would have cooked to order. We like our burgers a little pink in the middle. It seemed to take a long time to get our food after we ordered. Otherwise, the service was good. The House chips are good. We were really glad to see everyone's faces...no mask required

My partner and I stopped here for dinner before heading back to Memphis, after a stay in Cumberland Mountain State Park. The atmosphere, the food, local brews, and service were all exceptional! We both tried the Korean BBQ Bowl (choose your protein) and some local beers from Sparta, TN. The food alone is worth coming back for. We will make this a regalar stop from now on when we’re in town!

One of the best po' boy I've had. Shrimp were perfect. Tasty brussel sprouts, too.
