Blackbird Espresso

We stopped twice while visiting SD. The drip coffee is excellent and their breakfast sandwiches are really tasty. Would definitely go back! It took a little while to get our food each time (15-20min) but they were busy and it was worth the wait.

Very friendly and fast service!!!! Excellent coffee and easily located to visit while walking main street or driving by in car!!

Cute coffee shop serving breakfast too. I had the oatmeal which was fine nothing special.

I would have given them a ten back in the day but now nope! They used to have the BEST bakery goods and I didn't mind paying $$$ but now NO WAY. The muffins were stale, ice cold (recently pulled from freezer), and dry crumbling making a giant mess. Coffee was bitter and I only ordered a latte...didn't think you could mess that up. Bitter beans definitely did.. I spent 30$ and it was all garbage. Please go back to your wonderful fresh baked goods. The bitter beans... well I don't know how to fix it but please do! I will give you another try...but only one. Last time I spent 150$ on your bakery goods alone and brought them to everyone!

Love this place! Great place to grab a coffee made anyway you can think of and a light breakfast that will leave you feeling energized!

Lavender mocha cold brew was delicious, as was the homemade pop tart!

This is the perfect place to enjoy a drink and a book on a rainy afternoon. The açaí bowls are magical for summer brunch on the patio. (The Bright Eyes bowl is my absolute favorite.) It can get a bit crowded at peak times but the staff is always gracious and the patrons are usually friendly and understanding!

Terrific coffee with awesome customer service. Prices were more than manageable!!

Only downside was we went when it was busy so it was pretty cramped in there. Maybe next time, I order for outside.
