Hisega Adventure Lodge

First time there and it was extremely Zen. There was lodging and a creek near by. The breakfast was so good. There crepes and orange juice were banging! If you update them ahead of time they can prepare vegan coconut cream filling for your crepes!

A awesome hideaway destination. Very close to the natural wonders and man made wonders of the Black Hills. Rooms are comfortable and give you great views of the stream and rock faces and you also get to enjoy a delicious and even get an artisan pizza from the kitchen. The people who run it are welcoming and make you feel like you've always been there.

Wow!! Such a beautiful Lodge! So serene and peaceful. Enjoyed a beverage on the front deck where you could hear the sounds of the river. When we left we saw the most amazing sunset. Wonderful experience!

The owners are amazing. They went above and well beyond our expectations to make our stay memorable. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming and coffee was spot on. This is a must see (and stay) location.

Had problems sleeping; the mattress was hard. For some that may be fine. For us, not so much. The breakfasts were awesome and the hosts were nice. Parking may be a little tough, and the altitude could be a problem for those flying in, as opposed to driving.

Had a large dinner here for a rehearsal dinner and Mike and Tara really made the night special. Great food, great service, and the best atmosphere. Couldn't have thought of a better place venue.

Absolutely fantastic inside and out. The staff was so welcoming and courteous. Can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Make it a point to see this slice of history. 108 years strong!

Carol and Ken are great people. The atmosphere was super friendly. The breakfast was so delicious it's worth going back for the service and fantastic food.
Visiting again this year.

Amazing people and gorgeous relaxing place to stay! Also their coffee and caramel rolls are smooth melt in your mouth good!!!
