I'm officially spoiled for life! I went to the lodge to pick up two bags (1 dark and 1 medium roast) and while I am there, the owner, Tara, is finishing the roast on the very beans I would walk away with. I have never in my life purchased a bag of beans that are warm and fresh out of the roaster! The bags she sealed them in were thick and resisted absorption (not a crappy paper bag) so they stayed crazy tasty over the 3 weeks it took me to use them.
If that experience isn't enough, let me tell you that this is such delicious coffee! The dark roast was velvety smooth and full-bodied, with rich strong caramel and cocoa notes. The beans themselves had succulent little drops of oil on them but were in no way over-roasted or burnt. The medium roast was equally smooth, with bright crisp sweet notes. Very full-bodied for a medium roast. I make a strong brew and find many brands to be bitter and one-dimensional. Not so with Daily Adventure!
Like I said, I have been spoiled! After drinking this for the past 3 weeks, I opened a bag this morning from another local roaster and was met with total disappointment. Tara, expect me back shortly! Thank you and keep up the great work!

I ordered this coffee, and it showed up so fast I didn't even have time to tell my wife that coffee was coming! 😂
Fresh roasted organic coffee that shows up still warm, that can't be beat! Made the whole house smell great.
