I legit enjoyed this place. Our waitress, which I truly wish I remembered her name was such a joy. Price for food was reasonable. Didn't get anything I guess "extravagant" or "high class" for food which for me I enjoy greatly, this was definitely a "my grandmother made this, you won't leave hungry, sit, eat, and speak". I actually thought being served food with paper plates was great and brilliant and also gave a "home" type feeling. No complaints and no reason to give below 5 stars.

When we first got there we had kind of a large party... The hostess rolled her eyes like it was a big deal that we were there. He got seated and moved the tables together so we could we could sit next to each other our way just come down and start cussing at us about how we can't move the tables and her boss is going to be mad. She told us not to eat there than. I highly do not recommend this place. So rude and unwelcoming staff. When we were leaving the waitress and cook were smoking outside....I don't have a problem with smoking but I know the reason they didn't want us there

Very expensive for breakfast served on paper plates. It was over $50 for 2 breakfasts, a mimosa, and an orange juice. Service was ok but there were a lot of "help yourself" features for that price.

Friendly staff. My wife order the breakfast burrito, it comes with green chili or what ever it was. She asked for no toppings on it, the server said how it's comes, no changes. Well my wife got it anyway, it wasn't good. The topping was pour on it, they could have left it off. The pancakes were horrible, it was was like eating tough leather. The knife could barely cut though it and had to smother them in syrup to soften the pancakes.
They have a limited breakfast menu.
From the response from the owner, I can see why the food is bad. The owner doesn't see that if a customer doesn't want something on their meal, they should not be force to have it, even if it is homemade and everyone likes it. Not everyone enjoys tough pancakes, even if that's how you make them everyday. Volume because of a rally should not make impossible not to adding chili that is on top of burrito
It wasn't busy when we were there on Sunday, after the Rally was over
I suggest avoiding this place, I removed a star because of the owners attitude

Nice experience here in Deadwood. Love the breakfast with a side of sarcasm. The breakfast burrito is awesome with a chili cover that is slightly sweet and mild, similar to a salsa verde with pork. It’s a small seating area, perfect for a couple.

Finally a place that knows how to cook hashbrowns! Fresh squeezed OJ. Reasonable prices and great service. Such a treat after a few hotel breakfasts.

I think this may be the best orange juice in the entire west, and not just sometimes, but consistently for years. Awesome place. Grab a shirt or hoodie and tell em to bring back the old gas pump design!

Only place I'll go for breakfast when in Deadwood. You will be treated like family. If you know you know 😉.

My friend and I went here for breakfast a couple days ago. We sat outside. The service was slow, the waitress took an exceptionally long time to come and take our order even though it wasn't very busy, I never received the orange juice that I asked for, the waitress never once came and asked how we were and if we needed anything. And the food was edible but that's about the nicest thing I can say. If I'm ever in the Deadwood area again, I will not be dining here.
