Baker's Bakery & Cafe

Our lunch was excellent. I had a mushroom swiss burger, and the patty was juicy and thick, with the bun made on the premises. My wife had a Philly Cheesesteak and it too was very tasty. Great lunch.

After lunch we selected from a wide variety of pastries and other house made goodies. As a bakery, this place has the chops! Try their Peanut or Blueberry Stacks. Delightful. I had what believe is a Carmel Rockslide Brownie (not sure about the name) and it was decadent! I won't need to eat the rest of the day!

Dustin, our server, was attentive and very fun. He responded to every question, and made sure our drink glasses were never empty! This is a wonderful restaurant that is also an superb bakery. They close at 4 pm, so don't dawdle-- get in there for breakfast or lunch. You'll be very glad you did!

The caramel pecan bun was delicious. However, the latte was pretty bad. The veggie burger and fries were over-priced and tasted terrible. Breakfast is only served until 11am, so not much veggie options after 11am. Would have liked to try the avocado toast, but only served during breakfast hours.

Food: 5 stars ... Friendly Service: 4.5 stars ... I recommend providing a space for bakery customers to have a coffee and pastry inside as well (and don't tell them they can't sit down when 80% of tables are empty). Three tables outside fill fast and it leaves customers feeling slightly abused after spending money on pastries to go as well.

Honestly, I will likely remember this as the friendliest service I've received in my life. I ordered the avocado toast on sourdough and grabbed a giant chocolate cookie to go, my coffee was refilled and refilled and never empty. Thank you, Seth! (I hope the name on my ticket is right)

Place was great seated 10 of us in minutes of arriving. Waitress was great and the food was very filling the omelette combo you could of had another meal. Excellent 👍

Best food ever! We were in Custer for a week and ate here twice, once for breakfast and lunch on the second visit. Excellent food and bakery, and excellent service! Would highly recommend

We got seated right away even though the place was quite full. From the time we got seated to the time we received our order, it was 10 minutes!! Seriously! Our waitress was great and the western omelet was literally the best I've ever had. My husband ordered the green chili burrito and he said it was delicious.

A nice little eatin place. I had the salmon blt and it was phenomenal with the sauce. They make their own bread and you can tell. It's delicious. Also, they have chicken strips and French fries so my 7 year old was happy. They also offer bison burgers so if you don't want to wait 45 minutes this is an excellent place to try it. Service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was great.
