Great food in the morning and fast... green chillies smothered burrito is delicious

It was decent, I got a breakfast burrito and an omelette both were missing spices, kinda bland. It seemed super popular and the doughnuts were the main attraction. I had to wait about 30 minutes for the food for takeout. While if you get doughnuts or coffee it is basically instant. Maybe a mistake not to grab a doughnut or three. It was good for brunch after a hike in the mountains.

Had a great bison burger with fries and a delicious bun

Very good venue with great food and excellent service. The Southwest wrap was very good, just slightly over filled which made it messy. They have plenty of napkins though, so a very enjoyable meal.

We stopped for breakfast with 4 adults & 3 children. Food was SOO good! Probably the best place we’ve been yet in South Dakota. Our waitress Lauren was amazing! Definitely recommend!

Wonderful bakery - caramel roll and the apple fritter were a delight. The burrito was also amazing.

Fantastic food and service. Highly recommend the acai bowl for breakfast.

Such a gem in Custer! The food is so good, the coffee doesn't lie when it's on the menu as "really good coffee" and the bakery case is EXCELLENT. Our server Lauren was incredible and so fun. Definitely coming back the next time we're in Custer!

Delicious sandwiches with fresh bakery bread...I had a Ruben on marbled rye that was about the best I've ever had. Husband had a Philly steak that he says was outstanding! We were too full for dessert.

It is written in big letters “you will love our buns” at the cafe and no doubt we loved their buns. We were staying in the locality and wanted to try their coffee. We went there during lunch time and ordered two vegetarian sandwich with avocado as sides. Place is popular and crowded, but they have ample space, there is extra sitting at the end of the cafe. We tried their lattes with vegetarian sandwiches. Both were truly amazing. Buns were too fresh and soft and sandwich was delicious. We went there twice during our trip. They close little early at 4:00PM, so you need to be before that to try their buns. It was a treat in Custer for us.
