Great sandwiches and pastries! We stumbled upon this charming place after hiking in the black hills. Great service and great food! Definitely try the Mexican burger with the green chiles.

Good food friendly staff. First day open for the season. We went at 1 and they were out of doughnuts so we had lunch instead. Veggie burger and jalapeño burger were delightful!

Greeted promptly as we walked in.

Water was brought before we even settled into the booth and coffee immediately after that! Service was friendly and food came out fast. Maybe because we were here early (6:30) but my coffee was never empty, Loray (sorry if I misspelled that)I was very attentive.

Bakery items are made here and the Apple fritter is fabulous!

I got avocado toast which was delicious. Fresh avocado and egg cooked to perfection. The fresh fruit was actually quite fresh 😊. Hubby ordered the meat omelette which had a thin layer of egg (which he likes) and lots of filling.

Debated on taking a pastry to go but felt it would be better fresh. They are closed on Tuesday and close for the season at the end of September so if you're here other than that be sure to stop by!

Excellent service! The place is much larger than it looks! We got seated and served out food within 15 mins! Super fast, super friendly! Great food!

We came to Custer and decided to try this place out. The servers were awesome and the food so good. You can't go wrong eating here. If you have room the basket has lots of great food.

Small town charm with amazing homemade food and flavor! Lauren was a great waitress, fast and on point. LARGE portions but great food!

We had a great meal. The service was fast and friendly. The caramel buns were amazing. Great spot for breakfast.

we were seated immediately and received prompt service. The breakfast items were very reasonably priced and prepared as requested. The biscuits and gravy were just “ok”. The gravy lacked flavor ... tasted like the gravy was prepared then cooked sausage added; it also lacked seasoning. All other items were good. The sweets are all delectable and cinnamon rolls massive. One member of our group of friends ate here almost daily during our 6 day visit.

Best sandwich I ever had here! Highly recommend the salmon sandwich with fries and chipotle mayo! Very simple meal but it’s a perfect 10/10 you don’t need anything more. The place is cute and clean and customer service was fantastic! We went while on a trip out of state and it was worth going an extra hour out of the way on the way home just to eat here again. Our server was Joy both times, she had the best service and a genuine smile. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in the state!
