This review is long overdue, Coastal Coffee Roasters is my go to work retreat spot. As a local entraprenaur, I stay pretty busy and some days just feel totally overwhelming. Those are the days I retreat from the office and I set up shop at Costal. Just walking through the door helps to calm me down, the food is DELICIOUS, I haven't found a single thing on there that I haven't liked and the staff are truly awesome, Danielle, Jocelyn and Bailey are 3 people that come to mind specifically, they provide a very high level of service and make me feel totally taken care of everytime I go in. Everyone I've spoken to there is great, the staff totally sets a peacful and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!!

Great local stop for good coffee, baked goods, and other assorted eats, locally sourced. But the fun doesn't stop there, they have a classic "general store" feel with offers from local merchants lining one wall (including my all-time favorite pizza/pasta sauce).

The atmosphere is warm and inviting with awesome service always making you feel welcome. If you are passing through the area, you owe it to yourself to stop here (and grab some pizza/pasta sauce).

Losses a star due to its operating hours. I would like to enjoy this awesome atmosphere in the evenings to just mellow out and chill, but they close somewhat early.

Coffee is a bit high and somewhat bitter. Upcharge on coffee that is not offered for days choice. Choices for the day are usually only two. Baker was not in so no options for breakfast but staff was very friendly and helpful. Love the Carolina brew.

Best gourmet coffee around! So many different flavors and blends that it's hard to pick a favorite. The staff is very friendly, and the shop is cozy. Try the blueberry muffins... you won't regret it!

Stopped in with my daughter for some coffee. Service was good and drinks delicious. Dine in area has been expanded and is more inviting. Will be back again.

The best coffee shop in the low country. Not because their coffee is anything super special, but because of the community space. I love how they have events and plenty of spots to meet up with people. It's truly a social and info hub. Also they are partnered with the brewery next door as well as having a selection of natural handmade products to sell, many from an apiary.

I love it here! I'm not really a big coffee person because it's so much to know and I don't have the brain capacity to remember but I love the staff because they are always so helpful in making suggestions and I've enjoyed them all so far. It's a great environment but their popularity is growing so sometimes it's pretty full. We went outside, found a shade spot, and enjoyed the breeze of the morning.

Thursday open mic from 6-9 was a blast! My family and I had so much fun. After the event, I made a suggestion to this shop via email and I received a response this morning! What a great business! My family and I will definitely be returning and recommending coastal coffee roasters to my friends from work. Also, I got the lemon pie bar thing and it was delicious! My family loved their coffees.

Other: the coffee shop reminds me of a hangout for creative people (writers, musicians, etc.) and had a artistic vibe that is suitable for a wide variety of crowds: teenage hipsters, families with children, and older people.

Their ice latte was excellent! Friendly service.

The best local coffee shop in Summerville roasting some of the best beans you can get in the area. The owner is incredibly hands-on and personable and wants to make sure every customer leaves having had a great experience. Coastal Coffee also has an amazing food and pastry selection along with a killer selection of beer, wine, and other local goods. Definitely worth stopping in if you haven’t before!
