Thought I should share my thoughts, I have been going to this location since it first opened. The place was pretty awesome when it just opened, but lately it has being running down the drain. Usually I don’t leave reviews but tonight was something. We came in and ordered close to $100 of coffee and ice cream. I asked for glass cups, not to go paper cups. The coffee was served and we had a great time. We got up to leave and took out the trash but left the cups on the table. Our grouped walked out and enjoyed a stroll on the town. After about an hour walk. We came back to our car and we’re just chit chatting in front of the toy store. Mind you the young barista fellow comes up and starts venting at our group of how in polite we were that we didn’t bring the glass cups to him and how cleaning the tables is not part of his job. That is is sad, because as far as I am aware, it is a business responsibility to provide a clean environment for their customers. Also I wanted to note that the restrooms were a dump this Friday as well, toilets overfilling. Management I understand that you can’t make everyone happy. But as a customer the last thing I want is some barista lecturing me on the sidewalk after their shift on how I didn’t bring my cup to his majesty so that he wouldn’t need to clean the table.

Awful service and thieving staff. Girlfriend left her new iPhone shortly before close. Literally 3 mins, she outside calling for 10 min, other gf knocking on door. The 2 girl workers were, Literally in the center of store refusing to answer phone or door, all while holding her brand new i phone and only when we begin to call cops they came rudely to door saying you should have called. 3 of us were trying to call their number which we knew worked because we called to get directions there. Rude liars and thieves , definitely not southern hospitality. Better off staying home in Detroit or any worse town. You would expect it there.

I call Spill the Beans my office. Most of my work is remote so going to STB 2 or 3x a week breaks up the monotony. There is wi-fi available with a purchase. The staff is always so friendly and ready to serve you. The will happily go over menu options for the infrequent coffee drinkers. The atmosphere is chill and never over crowded.

As I am walking out and about in downtown Spartanburg --- and the mood strikes --- I will take a coffee at STB.

My "Shot in the Dark" is always good.

Good vibe here.
Love the sliding doors that open the entire front to Main Street.
Lots of students studying or collaborating here.

Great space to work or have a coffee date & great coffee! They have great coffee alternatives like Italian Crème Sodas and Matcha.

Spill the Beans was a fantastic find this morning. Both craft and care were found in the latte I ordered this morning, with lovely latte art, appropriate texturing, and simple and sweet flavors. Everything feels intentional about the environment, and the atmosphere is what you’d want from a modern coffee shop. Spill the Beans is definitely a great way to greet the day!

Repeat customer come at least 3-4 times a week and unfortunately had to remove my 5 star review. Today is not only the first time but also the worst ever experience I’ve ever had at any spill the beans location. It’s ok to make mistakes but to repeatedly skip an order multiple times and have to worst attitude is a poor representation of the company. Sad to say Starbucks has better service.

Get the espresso, it has such an awesome fruity flavor. This shop seems to be made for social media with everything being carefully coordinated. Also, every barista I’ve interacted with here has been really friendly.

My husband and I went for ice cream. They only have chocolate and vanilla but lots of add ins. For both of us to have a waffle cone and a bottle of water was $14 so to me that’s super expensive but the quality was good and the gentleman was nice and patient while we decided what we wanted. Overall good but would only go for a special treat once in a while.

Friendly and safe atmosphere, helpful staff, delicious food and drinks. My only nitpick is that they could use a couple more couches, or slightly different arrangement of the ones that are there so more people could have cozy seating because it's a great place to be. ☺️
