This review is of whole beans only - My wife traveled to east coast and picked up a fresh bag of “light to medium” beans only to open fully oily beans upon opening back at home. Oily beans only occur when roasted way past the second crack. Based on color and oil, this is definitely at least a Full City roast, creeping into the espresso range. Pulled an espresso at home to experience a very roast forward semi bitter flavor (pulled on a GS3). Sad as my wife said her espresso was vibrant yet nutty in the shop and they said that those were the same beans they used. They should do better with quality control on the bagged beans.

Had a latte with these beans in the morning, and the roast works ok with milk based drink. Won’t make espresso from these again but will finish the bag in milk based drinks.

Fave place in Spartanburg County to relax and get some sweets and milk with honey. Friendly people. Gets crowded sometimes so arrive when not in a time crunch. Definitely a safe space for you and you family. Glad this place exists.

Although I have had great service every other time I have been here, tonight I had the worst service I've ever had anywhere. I was told by the two young women working that I could not get a refund even though I was charged for something I did not order. It went downhill from there. They appeared to not have enough training and were very rude to me and to my friend. I was stunned by the way one of them talked to us. She was causing a scene in front of a table full of people so my friend and I took the high road and left. Sad for this. All of the people who have ever waited on me previously have been very nice and helpful. I would like to keep coming here but cannot do so if these are the kind of people who are now going to be working there. I won't be treated that way...and pay for that kind of treatment. I hope this situation can be rectified by a full refund, which I should have received, as well as an apology for how we were treated and talked to. I do appreciate the staff who I have encountered every other time I've been in. They have all been friendly, professional, considerate, and helpful. I would give them five ⭐ s.

Good coffee and cake options. A little overpriced for the coffee, especially with no loyalty program or discounts for bringing your own mug. The atmosphere is nice, though. Good for a specialty coffee trip, but not my daily spot.

I go here at least 1-2 times a week because I live in the attached apartment building. I have had pretty great experiences and I love the coffee so I keep coming back. A few weeks or so ago I had the worst experience I’ve had anywhere in a long time. I got a coffee to go and was in a hurry so ran out before tasting. The milk put into my latte tasted old and sour. So I called on my drive out just explaining to the barista what happened. I asked if they could remake it and she refused. Didn’t check with a manager, didn’t offer apologies. Nothing. I threw the coffee out and will probably not be back for a long long time. The girls need more customer service training clearly and it shows, super disappointed.

I wasn't impressed with the coffee. It's the basic coffee shop with Tor'ani syrups and professional machines. Absolutely nothing unique. The decor is very nice and there is a park across the street for the kids. Come here to hang out and be social, not for the drinks.

It has the industrial vibe that seems to suit well, but still feels too monotonous in overall decoration and design. The coffee bar section has nice contrast, that's about it. Okay enough to sit down, not the best compared to other cafes I've been to.

I haven't tried their food related items, but they seem to have good ice cream options. Unfortunately, I haven't tried those menus.

They seem to have creative ideas. Good enough to grab and go. But nothing too special compared to other cafes that offer special latte menus.

I rated this based on pure espresso shot and cortado. The espresso shot is very underextracted and has no body. There is no proper mouth feel. Rather watery in the texture. They seem to use automatic tamper, but I've not witnessed any proper distribution method. Unfortunately, I didn't take note of the espresso machine they used, but remember them using Nuova Simonelli grinder.
Cortado was unfortunate as well. The frothing was improper. Foam on top like a traditional cappuccino, but not frothed throughout - so foam on top and low viscous hot milk on the bottom. I usually expect 1:3 ratio of espresso and frothing, but it seemed quite a higher milk ratio.
To give them a bit of leeway, they were super busy. That might have caused lower quality frothing.

Overall, it's an okay place to grab coffee. They have their own perk and appeal.

Stood in line for over 20 min. It is 940 pm. “We are sorry we close our ice cream machine at 930.”

Put a sign maybe? Something that states that I waste my time? Or close earlier not to keep employees late. Very disappointing. Haven’t come here for a while and the ONLY time I decide to show up with family it doesn’t work out. Surprised the coffee machine didn’t close down earlier

Tried the Mexican Hot Chocolate for the first time and have found a new favorite. I'm so happy they had oat milk. Would have appreciated having tables that had been moved inside cleaned. There was a lot of gunk between the table slats.
