Good cafe with good people. French press coffee is fantastic and well worth the wait, though some of the syrups are either much too sweet or are added in excess to the coffee. Coffee is quality, though, and there are plenty of options for seating. A really good environment to get work done and have good coffee for a good price. They also have nachos, cinnamon rolls and other sweets! A bunch of options.

Their cinnamon rolls are my favorite. I love going here mostly because of the atmosphere, though I was a little sad to see they recently put a printer in the book nook, my favorite room. Kinda kills the vibes in there ngl.

Eclectic fun coffee shop. Many nooks to read and study. Great cinnamon buns!

Great atmosphere. Great customer service. Great coffee. Very relaxing place to just chill and have a coffee and I have an evening read. We highly enjoyed our stop here.

This is an amazing little coffee shop, the atmosphere is good and the outdoor area is amazing.
As much as I like this place I might not go back for awhile, when we went in on June 23rd, only the person cleaning tables was wearing a mask. With the state of the world right now I'm only going to places where people are wearing masks.

Love this place. Always has the best flavor selection and a lot of cozy space to spread out. Has lots of sugar free options too, which was a pleasant surprise!

Great space to sit and enjoy hot chocolate/coffee and goodies. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of space to meet up and hang out with friends, read, or study. The hot chocolate was delicious. There are plenty of books to choose from in the book & coffee store. This is such a cozy place! I am looking forward to trying some of the coffee.

Not only is this business involved with bettering our fellow man but also making my morning better with delicious locally sourced coffee, treats and espresso!!! Thank you for the hospitality, I'll be back!!

Lots of outdoor tables ,decks some comfortable furniture very relaxing environment.

This place is a hidden gem within the town limits of Lexington! Coffee, craft beer, wine, and many other options make great additions to enjoying the atmosphere that Second Wave has created. After getting your drink, mosey on over to the book room for a good variety of reads, or wander outside to the open area with a stream to enjoy and games to play. Complete with picnic tables, a firepit, and a life-sized chess board, this place has plenty to pass the time while enjoying a delicious beverage. They also have a variety of snacks (cookie butter on toast is my recommendation) that are great complements to a cup of coffee.
