The staff was amazing. Super friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and very cute. The coffee was SO good. We got the ham and Swiss croissant that was really good as well. The strawberry muffin was a little dry. Overall would recommend

Amazing staff and always clean! Took my aunt on the 2nd trip and got a flight of iced coffee for each of us to share. Great way to try alot of different flavors to find your favorite.

My wife and I absolutely love this place! The mimosa and iced latte flights are incredible! Plus it always helps that the staff is always friendly.

This place is nice with its high ceilings, large windows and front porch cafe atmosphere. The chicken salad on the fresh half of bell pepper is to die for. Staff are friendly. Hot tea was very nice. The small business event was really well put on . Lovely place for the community to support and explore our local craftsmanship. I will definitely be back for more at Brew just a good feeling vibe there.

Super cute aesthetic and really friendly staff! Not a lot of options for food- just heated up pastries and premade sandwiches (like Starbucks) but the coffee flight was good! Great way to give different flavors a try.

I first saw a picture and post on social media of a coffee flight from here and knew I had to make the trip on my sister's bachelorette trip to Charleston. We are all so glad we went because it was an awesome experience! The staff were so helpful and sweet! Since they weren't serving coffee flight at that time, they accommodated us by making an exception for our group since it was her Bachelorette party. The coffee flight was amazing! My sister got a mimosa flight, as well, that she enjoyed very much. I purchased the chicken salad and brownie for food, and let me tell you they were to die for!!! It was so good that I made a visit on my way back home and purchased an iced coffee and more chicken salad. I will be coming back whenever I visit Charleston again!

I was really excited to try this cute little coffee shop! When I arrived, I was greeted with less than a welcomed atmosphere. It made me feel very awkward. The staff was rude, including the owner. How do I know it was the owner? The baristas told me. I felt like I was a bother to them, because that’s how I was treated. The coffee was far from a pleasant cup. I’ll just stick to my coffee at home or another shop. I got the coffee flight and was sure to pick modest flavors and everything was extremely watered down. I got some quiche as well, which was cold even though they said it was warmed? Very cute spot but the staff and coffee are lacking, especially for the pricing. Very disappointed in my experience.

Back Up

I liked this place a few months ago but the coffee consistently tastes so weird now and my husband agrees. This was our last stop here. The ham in the croissants are so tightly rolled now it’s weird to eat, also not to mention every time you go in the teenagers working up front look like they’re judging you for even coming in.

I really really really wanted to love this. And I struggled with the rating.

Pros: the coffee was pretty good. There seemed to be a good selection.

Cons: no one was wearing a mask. I get that it isn’t required in Hanahan, but not a single employee was ever pretending to wear a mask.
It was SLOW.
You get no choice with your flights. I get that that would slow them down, but no through given to allergies or preferences.
The employees didn’t seem to know what was going on. I asked a woman about the pastries and she didn’t know the answer. The guy working didn’t know his beers.
Expensive. If I’m gonna pay 15 for a mimosa flight, I don’t want Andre

Suggestions: put on masks
Allow customers to choose - even if from a limited selection. Do it the way breweries do, and have them write their choices down after paying. I was given a coconut mimosa, I can’t stand coconut. And different people who ordered around the same time, had different flavors, so it isn’t preset.
Have the pastries labeled.
Streamline. Have one person taking orders and everyone else making drinks.

It’s a great concept, and I know they’re new, so hopefully they will work out the kinks.

Update 5-20-23:
We haven't been in a while. Lots of indoor seating seems to be missing? But the outdoor area has expanded on tables.

Padding has improved. There's an actual lot adjoining which is much better than when we first went.

Kind of an FYI - if you order a crescent or pastry they automatically heat it. I was NOT expecting that. Not sure if that's with ask their pastries or not but I did not expect that. And I wasn't asked first. So if that's not something you care for you might want to ask about your selection before they heat it without asking.

I got an OAT vanilla Latte. It was good no complaints.

Previous post:
Fun new find. Open, fair amount of seating for a cafe. Bar area seating, couches, tables & chairs. It's more than coffee - happily hour at 2 to 4pm (they serve decaf), mimosas, teas...

Small area with salads, fruit, cookies, muffins, croissants and other drink options.

I enjoyed their flavors. They have new flavors often which makes going back for new and different fun.
