Spent a few hours shopping in Georgetown. Had lunch at the Coffee Break Cafe. Delightful experience! The white bean soup is arguably the best soup I have ever tasted. Excellent chicken salad also. Don't miss this place!

The sweet woman who owns this store is very friendly, and pets are welcome here. She always treats my Josie to a Puppicino whipped cream that is safe for dogs. Love these folks for their great hearts!

Great breakfast, reasonable prices, quaint. Terrific staff. Three different staff were very attentive to us. Worth the visit.

5 stars for the atmosphere and warm reception upon entering. A man came up and greeted us almost instantly and was very cordial and inviting. The coffee was not very good though. It was way too watered down. Had they made it a stronger it might’ve been good, but it tasted more like hot water with a splash of coffee instead.

Regulars on Saturdays and always treated royally. Great breakfasts, great service, and great people. Love the breakfast sandwiches and eggs. Friends and family have really enjoyed the Yankee grits and pancakes.
Highly recommended!

This was the best breakfast and awesome cup of coffee. I would highly recommend that if you stop in George town check the coffee cafe out you won't be sorry you did.

Lacks Southern Hospitality. Service bad.
DO NOT RECOMMEND. Went in on a Sunday. We were greeted by Ron, apparently the owner. We waited about an hour for our food. When I told him we had been there an hour and if it would be much longer, he said, "Well, you could see that we were busy when you walked in...if you don't like it, there's the door. I only have 6 burners and my wife hasn't stopped cooking since we opened".
Wow!!!
I was in shock. In, all my years of living in the Lowcountry, I have never had a response from a manager or owner to that magnitude. Certainly, he was not thinking of his customers at the time of his remark.
Unfortunately, that was not good business on his part. He also said, "keep in mind there's not alot to choose from." That is certainly what keeps this guy in business...no competition he thinks. A 15 minute drive to Pawleys or another choice of restaurant would be your much better choice. This was our second visit there. The first time we went was for coffee which not satisfying. We were trying to give them the benefit of the doubt the second time around.
I had hoped for a cute coffee shop to go to regularly, but there won't be a third time. Sad...

Iced coffee made with coffee ice-cubes = a cut above. Delicious food and cinnamon roles. Friendly staff, nice, casual vibe. Can't wait to go back.
