Great coffee shop - totally enjoyed our morning there . Wish we would have ordered more. Friendly and great service

Horrible experience. We had breakfast on a Friday morning. They had 3 other tables with customers. I ordered mushroom and cheese omelet. My wife ordered waffle and over medium eggs. Eggs were way overcooked. Hard and brown. Waffle was stone cold butter wouldn't melt. My omelet came out very brown and empty. No cheese, no mushrooms. We wont be back.

Quick easy meal, friendly service, no complaints. Would definitely come back.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing! Cinnamon rolls are the perfect combination of crispy and gooey with the best cream cheese icing ever! Omelets are big and fluffy! Pancakes are huge! Service was just “ok”. We had to ask for refills and that’s my biggest pet peeve when I’m out. Attention to detail is key for a five star rating! Everything else was amazing!

I’m sure the breakfast is probably delicious but we wouldn’t know.
We actually made the trip to Georgetown to visit Thomas Cafe which was closed at the time we arrived. A local couple recommended Coffee Break so we decided to give it a try.
After standing in line for 20 minutes we were told that if we wanted breakfast we should have a seat and someone would come to our table… there were no tables available inside so we sat outside. There we waited another 15 mins for someone to come take our order. After the long wait and no greeting, we finally left. We’ll be back to Georgetown, but not to Coffee Break. Disappointed.

I really wanted to like this place. Two of us walked in and it was full. Stood inside the entrance for 5-10 minutes with a line of people forming behind me, waiting for one of the three waitresses to at least acknowledge my presence after walking by me several times, but it was as if we were invisible. I would have been happy if someone would have asked my name or said, 'its going to be an hour for a table,' or at least said 'good morning,' but they chose to ignore me and the 10 other people waiting to give them business. We gave up and got coffee and pastries at the bakery across the street instead. Not going to bother with this cafe again.

Huge and very thick pancakes, friendly staff. The food was great and the small diningroom gets packed. The location is great to walk along the dock and see the boats and stop in for coffee and grab a bite. Now side note im 225 6 foot and i can eat the butt off an elephant, i got the 2 hotcake, egg and bacon all very good but i left a half a pancake they are very thick. Man that was some cake

We must have caught them on a very bad day. The server was sweet, and very apologetic. The grits came out room temp, with the flavor and consistency of coagulated Cream of Wheat. The eggs and toast were cold by the time they finally got there (they did replace the eggs. Maybe next time.
