I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a business owner. I am 100% in support of small businesses and will go out of my way to give them my time & money so this shocked me and I am leaving this review in hopes to keep it from happening to at least one other person. We are new in town and because of the good reviews, I ordered my moms birthday cake from this bakery. First opinion, I was not super impressed with the overall appearance and customer service but my mom really wanted this specific cake so I let that go. After blowing out the candles and cutting it, we realized we received an entirely different cake than the one she requested and we ordered. I immediately called and the owner answered. I explained the situation was told “the flavor was added” and was brushed off. I offered to bring the cake in to show her that it was just a plain yellow cake rather than key lime and she said she was busy making another cake also they were closing in an hour so not to bother. Because she didn’t have the time for me, she requested my phone number to return my call and process my refund. I agreed because at this point, her birthday was almost over and I just wanted our money back. I was also tired of arguing and being told I was completely wrong about the cake and being spoken down to for something that was not my fault. Days later, nothing. Decided to just go in person and explain the situation once more and was berated for not bringing in the cake... and at this point she refused a refund. We went back and forth and finally she offered the refund again, but it turns out that she was “out of cash” and her card machine was broken. At this point I just wanted this to be done and over because it was rather upsetting. I came back a few days later as my last attempt and once again was refused a full refund. I remained calm and respectful and she actually laughed in my face saying once again that I was wrong.. which just showed how little she actually cared about my opinion or my moms feelings on what was her 50th. It’s just a cake but we deserved validation and at least respect. I have never felt so belittled or talked down to in a store. I remember telling her she shouldn’t care just about losing my business because I know there are plenty of other customers, she should care that as a human being it is just unacceptable to make someone feel so small! I was eventually thrown a partial cash refund and left feeling shocked and hurt from the interaction.
Overall, the owner is EXTREMELY defensive and refuses to apologize for her errors. She laughs customers in the face and I honestly hope no one has to leave feeling like I did.

I just moved back to the area and noticed the sign and thought I'd give it a try. As soon as you walk in the door your sense of smell is greeted with the sweet aroma of caramel and cream. Your eyes are in for a treat, too! There was a vast array of delectables from petit feurs, to freshly baked homemade cookies to a variety of different flavored empanadas and tres leches. Beyond the glass display was an spread of fresh out of.the oven desserts. The prices are extremely reasonable. I decided to grab several different goodies and take them back to everyone at my house. After devouring the best peanut butter cookie I've ever had in the parking lot, I opted for the long way home and finished off the treats with my family being none the wiser. I've found my new secret getaway for whenever I need a little pick me up. Thank you thank you thank you!

After reading all the reviews, I said that the next time I'm in Columbia, I must stop in. Sad to report that I was very disappointed. I tried the chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting and the petit fours. I'm not sure what flavor the frosting was supposed to be, but it didn't taste like chocolate at all and was a very pale brown color, almost gray. The cake itself was very dry. The petit four wasn't as dry, but didn't taste fresh. Both tasted several days old. Perhaps the donuts and whole cakes are a safe bet, as I see that was what most customers raved about.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this bakery/cafe. Their breakfast burritos are soooooo delicious, my mom is obsessed with their guava pastries, my husband loves their tres leches cake and their tres leches cake is the only tres leches I'll eat, it's the first one I've had that I like the taste of. Their conchas are so good, makes me miss home (Los Angeles). Debbie and Laura are so sweet, these ladies will not disappoint!!

We stopped by just before closing on a Thursday night. The name of the place caused me to circle back and check it out (I love a good tres leches cake). I ended up buying a small tres leches cake, one order of the rice pudding, and one order of the "choco-flan".
The serving of rice pudding was quite generous and absolutely wonderful! Sprinkled with fresh Mexican cinnamon, it was delicious and never made it out of the parking lot.
The chocolate flan was also amazing and something I'd never had before (but will be getting again)---devil's food cake on the bottom and a wonderful flan on top. This one also didn't make it out of the parking lot; did I mention that my wife and my kids were with me? Seriously, the flan and the pudding disappeared very quickly.
The tres leches cake we took home and shared with extended family who'd never had tres leches. They are now converts.
In short, this place has wonderful food for reasonable prices. Nothing that we had was cloyingly sweet or over the top--flavors were subtle, nuanced, and complex (as they should be for many traditional Mexican desserts). The owner was very nice to chat with as well. We'll be going back for sure!

I've been this bakery for breakfast and the chorizo con papas in a tortilla was great. The staff in nice.
I also had my baby shower cake and cupcakes made here. They were amazing.
The best part of this bakery is the sense of family. Deb made my cakes and when I came to visit for thr first time she gave me a hug and welcomed me in. When my cake was picked up by my bestie for the shower my bestie said she for the same warm welcome.
On the way home from the bakery my cake was destroyed. We went into panic mode a little bit. But I called Deb and let her know what happened. She said it was ok and to just bring it in.
30 minutes later, I was in tears of joy. My cake was rebuilt and looking better than ever. On top of that she also gave us the destroyed cake to enjoy at home. The she offered to deliver the cake to venue to make sure it got there in one piece. It did. When she came she also gave me a shower gift.
Did I mention all this was done for us when the bakery was supposed to be closed. This bakery has gone above and beyond anyone's expectations of any business. They have simple kindness efficiency and an amazing product. I definitely recommend Tres Leches to not just anyone but everyone. They have m business for life.

I needed to place a last minute order as my regular person bailed on us the last minute. I needed tres leches cake to feed several hundred people and roscas. They came through with the orders. Many of the people said this was the best tres leches cake they had ever had. This is my new go to for my bakery needs. Thank you so much!
