Pounce is so wonderful! Very fair prices and always a fun time to play with the kitties while knowing you're supporting a good cause! Would definitely recommend as a fun date spot or thing to do! :)

Amazing concept . My wife and I love the cat cafe ! So many beautiful cats, what a lovely way to get cats adopted. Extremely friendly .
There should be more of these everywhere .

It is a very nice and cozy place. Perfect if you would love to cuddle with cute cats or if you are thinking about take one home, because all of the cats are available for adoption. So far there is around 15 of them I believe. To go inside you have to make a reservation first. You pay 15$ for an hour of cuddles with kitties, glass of wine or complimentary soft drink. I am giving this place 4 stars, because I feel like some of the kitties there are so skinny and need more food!

A cute little place to come out and play with some cats and hopefully give one a loving home. This cat cafe has helped over a thousand cats be adopted so they’re good at what they do.
The cafe portion was lackluster. They did not have coffee when I dropped by and their tea was a styrofoam cup with lukewarm water. 👎
My advice: Do the 30 min visit, read some of the funny feline books, and most importantly play with the kitties!

I can honestly say that if I lived closer id be here every day. The staff is helpful and the cats are adorable. It's a good place to go if you are interested in getting a cat and want to see them like they would be in your home. Not locked in a cage. We need more places like this.

The cafe was clean and the cats were adorable. The staff were very kind in answering all our questions about the cats we were interested in. It was definitely a great experience even if you don't plan on adopting. (:

My girlfriend is a cat lover beyond imagine. I/we were visiting Charleston and, as a last request, on our last day all she wanted was to go to pounce to visit the "kitties". She spoke so much about this would nake our trip complete. We spent about an hour waiting f.
or transit (public transportation) and getting delayed with traffic. By the the time we got there my bladder was about to explode ( you know what I'm talking about). As we entered the staff came forward and informed us that they were booked (reservations recommended but not required) only to be told they were booked for the next couple hurs. Denied, but optimistic, I politey requested to use the restroom. To my surprise the host told me no. I politey told the host that I needed to go really bad and again politey requested to use the restroom. The hostess then responded "they have one next door." This was perhaps the rudest and most inconsiderate interaction I've had with a human in a very long time and it made me feel as if they are exploiting the cats for profit with disregard for human life. Hope any guests, who dare visit , have a better experience.

Excellent drink menu (both alcoholic + non), and a wonderful assortment of playful, adorable cats. So much fun; book ahead and don’t miss this gem!

As far as cat cafes go in the us, this is one of the better ones for sure. They also have a fantastic track record of getting cats new homes. Wish they had a better selection on food and drinks but the cats are great and the room for them is done well.

If I lived in Charleston I'd be at Pounce every day!! The cats are well taken care of and the space is lovely to hang out in.
