Muddy Waters Coffee Bar

Enjoyed the atmosphere, the coffee is hot and strong, and the service is great. The pastries are the perfect pairing with your morning shot of caffeine. Highly recommend a stop at Muddy Waters Coffee Bar when in Charleston!

Great little spot. Barrista was very friendly and helpful. At his suggestion I ordered the iced honey basil latte SO good! I got an extra shot of espresso, as I like my coffee strong, it was perfect. The honey added a subtle sweetness and the macchiato waa perfectly layered.

I stop here a lot. My wife stops many more times than I. Great coffee, great baristas! It gets 5 stars from me if it were closer to where I live! The 4 star is really a 4.75.

Obviously good coffee since its from Counter Culture. Great equipment and cool shop feel.

The two stars is for the indifferent barista texting behind bar When I came in. She was just plain unkind when speaking and unwelcoming overall.

I'll go back to give them a second chance, and hopefully a better review. Maybe it was just a bad day.

Super yummy, great selection of drinks and baked goods. Seating is limited but the space is lovely. Quick and friendly service. Highly reccomend sharing one of their brownies with a friend or two!

Amazing coffee bar that cold brews their iced coffees rather than using powders like the other leading coffee bar. Homemade whip cream too. Conveniently on the way to Johns Island, Sesbrook/ Kiawah. Very relaxing calm atmosphere, plenty of parking, and friendly employees.

Starbucks has nothing on Muddy Waters! This place is a gem of a coffee shop. Love!!!

I love the honey lavender latte at Muddy Waters. I get a lot of work done when I drop in there. Sometimes the music can be a little too loud for me. It is my Go-To place when I am running errands on James Is and John's Is.

Cute little coffee shop, nice shaded patio space and a pretty good iced vanilla cinnamon latte.
