Red Rooster Cafe

My wife and I were so impressed with the Red Rooster Cafe that we dined here for breakfast three days in a row. Our first visit was on a Thursday, And so the atmosphere was quiet and service was prompt. The same for Friday. On Saturday, this cafe becomes a very popular location for breakfast and brunch perion all three days the food was fantastic, and service exceptional. The prices were always reasonable, and every dish we tried exceeded expectations. I highly recommend the Red Rooster Cafe for breakfast whenever you'll find yourself in Beaufort, South Carolina.

Very nice atmosphere and the service was outstanding. Ms. Margo took really good care of the entire restaurant and was very friendly and knowledgeable of the city and the history of the establishment. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and it is also kid friendly.

Waitresses were awesome! Food was amazing. They have a pepper Jack corn bread they bring out. The burgers were so tasty, sweet potato fries are yum!!! I didn’t like the tuna paninis but my husband loved them. My sweet tea was great and my husband and daughters loved their peach tea. I recommend this place for sure. It is pricey and they do gratuity.

Delicious food, great service, and nice decor. Love the variety of the menu; from eggs to salad. Everyone was pleased with the size portions. Very impressed with our server and her patience towards our family requests. Highly recommended.

The Crab Cake Benedict is my go to and I've never been disappointed. Service is good and I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seated. I only wish the French onion soup was available more often.

To be fair, it was super busy & all places are short handed, but my pancake was far from fluffy. lol. Kind of hard on top bc maybe it sat under the heat lamp until hubby's meal was ready. Anyway, my eggs were good as was his omelet. Loved our waitress!

I am so grateful to be able to experience Red Rooster. The customer service from the beginning to the end was phenomenal, my waitress Carleigh (sorry if I misspelled the name) was the best, her personality is everything, and lastly the foodddddddd, put it like this, I will be telling my family and friends about it, amazing! I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of eggs, it was hot, fresh, flavorful, super delicious! I wish I could have seconds lol. Honestly, I have no complaints. Thanks for the great experience. You all definitely made my day.

We wanted to try this restaurant because people keep talking about it and I wish we wouldn’t have wasted our time. When we arrived they told us it would be 25-30 min wait for a table for two so we decided to wait…AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER they finally call our name to seat us and when we got to the host he said I just want to let you know the kitchen is backed up so it will be about 50 mins before you get your food. Why was this not told to us before we waited an hour and a half in the lobby to get a table? Then I called and asked to speak with the manager about what happened and they hung up on me so I called back and she said I hung up because the manager can’t get to the phone until 4pm an hour after the restaurant closes. I asked them to take my name and number and give me a call at his earliest convenience and she said I can’t guarantee he will return your call and said I don’t have to serve you and hung up the phone. So sad a small local business has such HORRIBLE customer service.

Cute little breakfast and lunch place with farmhouse feel and fantastic food. My turkey burger was loaded with flavor and the roasted red peppers were such a great touch. Sweet potato fries were cool perfectly too! The service was a little slow. It wasn’t bad service, but for the amount of servers working it seemed like they could have been a bit more attentive when guests arrive and check in on them more frequently. Our server was very friendly and polite though and overall a good experience.

We love the food and service here but I'm only giving 4 stars this time because under our table was filthy with napkins and silverware all over the floor. Even the floor on the way to our table was littered with papers and crumbs of food. It's usually not like that. You must try the honey coconut latte!!
