Our family had brunch here after attending my brother’s graduation as a US Marine, and it was great! Delicious food and the waitress was wonderful, very kind and attentive. There was a different woman who brought out the food and she had a bit of an attitude though, rolled her eyes at us as we were a large group figuring out who ordered what. Overall, still a pleasant experience.
Wish we lived closer to be able to try everything on the menu!

Food and Staff was AWESOME! The shrimp and grits is a MUST HAVE.

The shrimp and grits was very tasty but it wasn't hot enough. The pancakes did not taste good. The place felt damp and cold and the restroom area had a bad smell.

The person who answered the phone was really rude. Kept telling me to hold on, and I need to wait a minute, and kept say what else do I want. Her tone and customer service was unprofessional. I called to place and order for my work company. She also hung up on me did not read my order back to me as well. Completely felt rushed! I placed my order around 10:30 and went to pick it up at 12 and it wasn’t even ready.

Super friendly staff..Ate in the bar area. Breakfast and lunch is available at lunch time! Great sandwiches, panini's , and salads..yum..fried green tomato blt!..bring your muscles, front doors are so bizarrely heavy that there is a "pull hard" notice posted on the doors!

Authentic southern breakfast fare that meets expectation of the best breakfast in Beaufort. Friendly staff and chef compliment the food. Cheese grits are wonderful. EIEIO old macdonald sandwich was perfect. Fresh OJ comes in a 16 oz. Ball Mason jar so I recommend if you love your OJ. Homemade jalapeno honey cornbread is flavorful without heat so all can taste their craft. My wife had the Mediterranean and lived it as well. Great spot but get there before 10am on Sunday or you may have a slight wait since the quality is well known.

My family and I waited an 1hour and 20 minutes, only to leave. There were also about 10 other families waiting and upset about the lack of service. We were also told that we will be seated with a party of 50 that will be coming in shortly, so we need to order fast because the kitchen is going to get backed up. Before you go beware and give them a call, also be prepared to WAIT. A looooong time! 😡🥵

We actually visited the Red Rooster Cafe twice during our stay in Beaufort. Prices were reasonable, staff was friendly and the food is great, especially the shrimp and grits! Pet friendly also.

Waited over 45 minutes for over cooked pancakes and bacon. We waited so long the ice in my sweet tea melted. My grandmother asked for more syrup that she never recieved. Server was terrible never gave us a refill, I had to ask, she was more concerned about catering to the white people. I will never eat here again.
