I absolutely enjoyed my time visiting the stores and stopping by the cafe. I had one of the best vanilla lattes and a ham and cheese croissant. I sat outside on the porch and enjoyed my light lunch, but they also had seating indoors as well as a garden area with Adirondack chairs and fire pits. I'll definitely visit again.

I love it here. The coffee and treats are superb. We were lucky enough to grab an Earl Grey Croissant. Absolutely heavenly. The ambience is spectacular so clean and beautiful. A great place to grab food or a coffee.

The Cafe is a cute environment, nothing too special in the wake of all the new cafes popping up in this Third Coffee Wave. But I definitely would recommend it as a nice little trip to at least add to your passbook.

Unfortunately I didn't get to fully enjoy it all as I was going there with the intent of having a nice space to draw and do homework. I drove 25 minutes to get there, and only after ordering a cold brew (which seems overpriced considering it tasted burnt), I sat down only to then be informed that it's a "tablet & laptop" free environment. Mind you, there's no information about this on their site - a warning that would've been nice to know. Nor was there any signs at the register or the table we sat at. The closest sign was a mini sign (in the most ineligible cursive I've ever seen) on a table away from us. Ironically, it seems that phones are well received here as both staff and the clientele were using them. Which you would think that a phone is much more distracting than a tablet/laptop.

So while I would recommend it as a nice trip just be prepared to spend $$$ on small-servings. And don't make the mistake of going out there to do any work because of their inability to properly communicate the "vibe" they're trying to create. While I respect it, I would highly recommend reconsidering such a stance. At the very least during the winter months when it is uncomfortable to sit outside.

Considering I cannot respond to the Owner - I think it's important to note that the only thing listed below is as pasted: "Located in the heart of Tiverton Four Corners in a landmark building known as the A.P. White General Store (c. 1876), Groundswell Cafe + Bakery offers seasonal menus and coffee shop staples including house-made pastries and locally-roasted coffee"

Unless I should be looking elsewhere there is nowhere on the homepage that mentions no tablet/laptops.

Groundswell was an awesome stop. Staff are very friendly, smiles all around, good service and the food a long with coffee was very good. Seating was good but limited, but they do have a fire pit seating outside that is well maintained. We will visit again.

From the parking lot area to the indoors is delightful! This place brings their A-game to every finishing touch. Employees must be hired on their friendly dispositions because they're outstanding. If you've ever wondered what an exquisite croissant tastes like, this is the place to go. You will not be disappointed!

This place is amazing. Outdoor fire pits with adriondick chairs and the coffe is delicious. The stores are so beautiful and welcoming. I ran in for a coffee and ended up staying all morning. 5 star experience!

Great food, drinks, and service here. This small bakery/cafe is a nice spot to have a tea/coffee and a sandwich/salad. Every food item I have had from here has been delicious and the staff are always super friendly and efficient. I wish there was a bit more space inside.

Roast beef sandwich was delicious. Place is gorgeous. Workers were SOOO polite and friendly. Loved the store across the street as well. Breakfast tomorrow for sure. Gluten free bread and pastry too.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! The coffee was rich and luscious, the chai tea was very aromatic and spicy. They offer gluten free bread to any sandwiches which is great.

I love this place, it's really cute both inside and out, and it has the best chai lattes I've ever had, definitely recommend! I wish they had more vegan options, but my family members love the croissants/pastries!
