Night and day difference from two years ago to now. I was actually sad to leave behind hospital food this time.
Since the changes back in the kitchen the food has gotten considerably worse. The grill has more options though and is the same. Be prepared for the grill to take upwards of 15 minutes though. I recommend walking to Burger King down the street. A bit higher quality for a bit less money.
You can get two plates of food for around ten dollars. It's a good and cheap place to eat. The best hospital food in tri city. If you want better hospital cafeteria food well you are out of luck unless you go to Seattle. I look forward to eating there soon with my father figure john. The cafeteria is only for staff during covid.
Loved their salad bar and there food was really good also. I think the staff does not smile or help much and their website shows they are open from 6 AM to 2 Am but this is not the case. They open at 6am and close at 6:30pm and then open again at 11pm and close at 2am. Very very confusing. First timers really need some one to show them how to maneuver through it. They need friendlier staff!
Great coffee and good service
The burgers aren't bad, but their bacon is flabby, the eggs are like lumps of grossness, they look like powdered egg mix that you get at one of the breakfast is free with stay. The weigh your salad and charge you by weight. You can get a better selection and a better price at Sterling's

The cafe has a good selection of freshly prepared meals as well as prepared. The staff was congenial. Have a great selection of Refreshments as well as chips and sides. The booths were private there is also chair and table seating.
