Best coffee around and this location is fun with roasting production in same open area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Love the Boon Boona story.
I'm so grateful to have such a great coffee place in Renton. This is some of the best coffee I've had in Seattle.
I recently visited this coffee place and was impressed with the quality of their coffee. The ambiance of the place was noteworthy. Overall, I would highly recommend this coffee place to anyone who appreciates a good cup of coffee and a cozy ambiance.
Great space to hang out and have a java. Excellent espresso! The faces change very often which is weird. The atmosphere is near perfect. But...the drinks come out slow. The prices are too high. The drip coffee is too acidic.
Great atmosphere and kind staff. Lived the vegan brownie just wasn’t a huge fan of the coffee. But, don’t take my word for it- definitely try it out for yourself l!
Great coffee in downtown Renton. Quick and friendly service, ample space for seating. Oh and the coffee is delicious.
A good cup of coffee! This local spot is popular and for good reason. Their roast blends are typically on the citrusy side and depending on the day you’ll see staff roasting micro batches right next to the counter.
The drinks and breakfast sandwiches are top-notch. Additionally, the customer service is stupendous! I always feel welcome and safe when I visit Boon Boona, 5 out of 5 stars 🌟 would highly recommend!
Fun tamarind tea latte. Nice ambiance and open space. Super nice staff too - we asked for coffee sacks for home gardening project and they just game us one for free!
We were excited to try a black-owned business but found it very odd that this well-staffed cafe had all white employees. Then the drinks weren't good either. But the customer service was good. The reviews about the chai tea lattes are shocking. When I ordered mine it tasted nothing like they usually do and I order them all the time from different cafes.
Coffee is great, with plenty of space for working. Overall a great choice for daily coffee, working space, or meeting with a friend.
Enjoyed a Chai Latte with Oat Milk. Hubby sipped on a Vanilla Latte. Both drinks were smooth. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. Boon Boona Coffee had a chill yet unpretentious vibe to it. Highly recommend! ☕️

I don’t give out a lot of 5 star reviews, but this place knows coffee. A true gem in the Seattle area.
The location was convenient and the jasmine tea was fine. The woman behind the counter was exceptionally rude when I picked up the watery honey on the counter for my tea. “Don’t touch our stuff on the counter!”… was I supposed to know that the in-front-of-me honey was off limits and that they had already added some to my tea? People like to decide the sweetness of their own tea. If that’s an issue, keep your watery honey behind the counter to prevent customers from attempting to use it like a person normally would.

Went there to have some coffee with my better half. Fast and friendly service descent place. I think more for younger generation since people who work there are very casual; no uniform, all kinds of different hats, they eat behind the counter with no hesitation, lots of loose earrings and other body attachments. Not that healthy of enjoyment for me. But there were lots of other customers enjoying the place.
Good coffee, horrendous service. Went with my son and sister and the blonde at the counter couldn’t be bothered to look up. We finally were able to order and with no other customers I had to go to the counter after 10 minutes. The other barista asked what I needed!!!! My coffee that I ordered 10 minutes ago please! Eye rolls galore. I love supporting local businesses but won’t be spending any more money here.
I enjoyed a super smooth Cortado at the Renton Boon Boona - a locally owned chain of coffee shops. They roast their own beans. There's not a lot of food but the veggie breakfast sandwich I had was tasty and soft. It was busy but pleasant... the vibe is casual and friendly. There are a few tables to work at and a bar along the windows. 2000
