I thought this place was awesome. The barista is spot on. It's becoming harder to find actual Baristas. Big difference from a 19 year old that works somewhere and a Barista.
The owner of the building, Sheryl Johnston, runs a ponzi scam. She owns the whole lot. Including the building that’s burned down that resides on a barren and desolate lot. Prime for overflow parking. I did some digging. She has people towed from there unlawfully after 9pm (of course when it’s too dark to see the sign) for a cut of the money.
Excellent store, we love Mrs. J. She's a killer dart champion on a national level. Be sure to get an autograph or sulfie.
Business must stay open by towing cars after hours. Scummy.
Great place to grab great coffee. This is a very nice and unique experience. The coffee is wonderful. Baristas are knowledgeable. There is a good menu of lite fare and little snacks. They even offer a section of local crochet and crafts. Local artwork is for sale. I highly recommend you check out Kokopelli’s Koffee.
I come here often and the barista is always so nice and helpful. I got the Brefix sandwich today and it was so good and fresh!
This is a great coffee place to come to if you’d immediately like your car towed. If you thought the coffee, baristas, and service was bad just wait until your realized all of this cost you over $400. These tow trucks are watching this parking lot like vultures. If you still decide to go here for the overpriced cup of coffee make sure you tell the barista to bring the coffee out to your car and wait inside your vehicle so if you see a tow truck you can immediately peel out of the parking lot and attempt to save yourself time, money, stress, anger, and every other emotion that comes with being towed. You’ve been warned. Abandon all hope ye who enter here.
The barista was super friendly and made some good recommendations. It was a cute coffee shop. The coffee was good, and so was the bagel bacon breakfast sandwich.
Predatory towing at its finest.
Mediocre/bad coffee. Weird vibe. Aggressive barista upon walking in. Place was empty though which was good. I was worried about the 30 minute time limit which they did not enforce. Also, they post a ton of rules all over the coffee shop including mandatory tipping. I always tip, but it was just weird to be prompted like that. Bathroom felt industrial, like a back closet where they keep cleaning supplies. Toilet didn't really flush. Regarding parking, i'm not sure why there's a cafe in this location if it's even slightly difficult to park. Some honest advice to the owner: move locations and start fresh. Too many negative comments on here from Covid that it's going to be hard for this place to succeed. They have potential and nice art for sale in the window. It's quirky. But, I wouldn't come back.
Owner has lot patrolled by predatory tow company. Car was in the lot for 2 hours and now I owe $380 for parking after the business hours, no warning nothing. **Response to owner: if you truly wanted cars to not park there then make the signs clearly visible, otherwise you're not solving the issue only allowing people to suffer the consequences. Do you think I willingly parked in that spot with the understanding that I would get towed?? Solve the problem by posting better signage. Feel free to pay my $300 impound fee, you jack a**.
Amazing staff and drinks made to perfection! I love this little shop!
I only got a white chocolate iced coffee. It was very good.
Quite bad experience. Aparently there is a 30min time limit for dine-in but the barista did not inform me until after paying. He did say it was written at the door. It was! After my surprise written in small letters among 20 other things -- impossible to see. Also barista mentioned that they are not comfortable with customers being unwatched, so the barista "can't" really work while there is a customer. Just gonna say. If you don't want customers, make your shop a drive-through. This is ridiculous.
The barista here did a great job and was very welcoming. The black coffee I had was tasty, and decently priced. Aside from that this place is full of quirkiness and gesturing. There’s a 30 minute limit on how long people can be inside the restaurant, even when you’re the only person there. There are still masks required, and the public is not allowed to use the restroom. These are all very interesting policies that detract from the user experience and are very interesting considering the creativity in other parts of the business.
So different from what you're used to. The atmosphere was amazing, the service exemplary, and the coffee!! Oh my the coffee!! So good. We will be returning
What's up with the service here? Slow and rude. Running a coffee shop is the wrong line of work to be hostile to your customers, dude.
How could anyone not love this place. Such good vibes and nom!
They got my car towed after parking there for a very short time. Also the customer service is not great. I don’t really believe you to be honest. Seems like a way to swindle people out of there money. $355 is an absurd amount to pay. And don’t tell me they wait as a courtesy when there is one sign on you’re building and two signs wayyyy in the back that seem like a different parking area. There is not a single sign posted where everyone has been parking. (Across from your building). If you don’t want any more 1 star reviews talk to the “owner” and put some signs on poles across from your building.
Don’t come here and don’t park here. They close during normal business hours and then tow WHEN THEY’RE NOT EVEN OPEN. Trash. Go to Starbucks or anywhere else instead. They’ll say “don’t leave a small business a bad review” MEANWHILE paying a towing company to patrol their lot. It’s a joke If you actually wanted to maintain your lot in a healthy way, you’d post clear signage and offer people a discounted AM coffee. To stand by these idiotic claims of “not our lot” is ridiculous. Any true small business trying to grow would protect customers, not blame them
