I strongly recommend this coffee shop!! I moved to Utah 2 years ago for graduate school and found this place along my commute. The staff of Higher Ground Coffee helped me through my Masters Degree with their welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, great service and delicious coffee! I will miss them since I'll be moving out of state for work. Thank you guys, take care!
I got a mocha and a CaBreezy. The mocha was great but damn the CaBreezy really hit the spot! The baristas are very friendly and the spot is really cozy!

Wow :D This is the best breakfast place I know in the area. I haven't been there in a long time, but the people there seem to care about the quality and service without busting your wallet. Great egg sandwich. I wish more companies were like this. I get more value out of that than just the materialistic trade, I kept a feeling long after and my belly is still happy. They made me feel welcome even though I probably don't fit their typical demographic, unlike a lot of places stuck in their clique. Nice place to chill and read, they have games too and niche items.

A favorite stop whenever I am in SLC. Great pastries and sandwiches and homemade greeting cards served by wonderful, smiling, humans that may not be seen as 'normal' so wonderful.
Cute little place with good coffee. All kinds of people including a young woman with a cat wearing a sweater. Really enjoyed hanging out here.

I’ve finally found a place that can make a good iced lavender latte with oat milk. The flavor selection was amazing and the atmosphere was very cozy. I can’t wait to take my partner here! Highly recommend.
Consistently good coffee, great sandwiches, and great service. The baristas are extremely kind and cheerful. The alpenglow sandwich is so delicious! I also love the vibe inside. It’s small, but comfy.

We stopped in for a couple of dirty chai lattes and found a cozy spot to shack up for some serious studying. We picked a busy time of day, the line took about 15 minutes for us to place our order. It’s apparent that was due to the great service and amazing lattes they were delivering that day! The place is small but has a second level balcony that has some additional seating. Plenty of power strips for all of our technology that we can’t go without. Very clean considering how many people were in such a small space and also very clean restroom! We’ll definitely be back!

I come here a couple times a week. There are a lot of coffee places around this area, but higher ground has the best staff and vibes!
