Nice man at the counter. The apple fritter melted in my mouth, plenty of apple chunks. Go there! That was my review three years ago and I still remember how good that apple fritter was. I'm back in Knoxville and I'm headed back to Status Dough!
Loved this place! We ordered the chocolate iced, lemon poppy seed, and coffee cake donuts as well as an espresso and decaf latte. All were delicious.
Best old fashioned donuts I've had so far! Also they're huge.
I love the coffee old fashion donuts! The staff was very helpful and the store has a great vibe. The donuts are a little more expensive than most, but they taste so good!
Great spot with really good coffee and tasty pastries.
Straight uo, maybe the best donuts I’ve ever had in my life. This is well worth going out of your way. Outstanding.
I loved the lavender latte but was not crazy about my strawberry donut
Other than finding a hair in my buttermilk old fashioned doughnut the craftsmanship is there.
5 stars for our barista, Nick! He was so friendly and welcoming! The old fashioned buttermilk donuts are delicious too. The coffee is good, but it's not super sweet so if you like sweet coffee you might add some sugar on your own!
I have literally been all over the country sampling donuts and the coffee old fashioned here is in top 3 of all time I've tried. Very nice fella working the counter as well.
Fantastic donuts. The regular donuts have a great crisp exterior which gives way to a super soft and crumbly interior. The old fashioned donuts are moist and delicious as well!
Due to food sensitivities, I am not able to try the doughnuts because they are fried in soybean oil, but they look delicious. I tried an almond milk latte, and it was good! A nice treat to keep you warm walking around market square on a chilly morning. Employee was friendly and kind.
Very friendly staff and tasteful donuts. Though not a big selection. The place looks very cozy.
Great donuts and excellent customer service.
The donuts were very good and so was the coffee. The raised donuts were fluffy yet dense. They had that texture that you find at a good donut place. The old fashioned donuts had a nice crust on the outside. We were in town for the weekend and went back a second day.
Having worked many years in the service industry, I'm not easily moved - but the hospitality I found here today was phenomenal. My barista, Michael, was friendly, authentic, knowledgeable. I'd probably sit in a park and discuss art with him, chill fellow. Anyway, he helped me decide on my coffee, ground the beans right on the spot, frothed the milk by hand, and poured a beautiful design on top of my lavender latte ☕️ I'm halfway through a 20-hour drive to my grandfather's funeral, have already been rear-ended on this trip, on top of a tumultuous past month overall - Michael's genuine positive engagement was exactly what I needed to power me through the next leg of my travels. Thank you!
Delicious old fashioned donut. Amazing. I ate it, so I don't have a picture, but here's my dog enjoying the ambiance.
I love the donuts here. But in the downtown store you guys run out of donuts way too fast and I’m stuck w about 3 choices by 11 am. That’s terrible for a business to lack such consistency. Dunkin’ Donuts is no way as good but you know one reason why they do so well? They ALWAYS have enough donuts to go around. And your other location needs a full cleaning it’s gross in there. But love the donuts when you have the ones I like!!!
A small donut shop on Gay St. in Knoxville. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had coffee that was not the best I ever had but drinkable. I did however have a vegan snickerdoodle donut that was really good. When I hear vegan I think tastes lousy but this was not the case. I'm not a vegetarian but am not opposed to anything that tastes good. It was a good donut. This place is a little expensive but worth a stop.
Amazing doughnuts!!! Great drinks!!! Awesome staff!! By far the best doughnut shop in Knoxville!
