I'll never go to sbux again for nitro coffee as this place has Nitro perfection.. so many choices on tap, it's hard to go wrong.. and yet somehow, I keep choosing the bourbon brew, ha! SO Rich and delicious. And it's not just coffee. They actually have nitro infused tea, both hot and cold! The owners are welcoming and wonderful folks with an obvious passion for the coffee craft. If you're not sure what you might like, they offer tastings and flights. Worth it! And they do a dirty Chai that'll do you right **side note** they have stuffed cookies which they happily warm up for you. I was told the warmed Churro cookie would change my life.. unfortunately, they were right! Now it's all I can do to NOT buy the cookie every time I go.. if you can't tell already, I love this place. I even bought a silver subscription in which I get a 16 Oz drink of choice every day. Again... worth it!
If you haven't been, you're missing out! The nitro coffee and tea flavors are so delicious and on a rotation, so there is no risk of getting bored of the same thing. There is an option to add specialty liquor to any coffee or tea of your choice. The stuffed cookies are out of this world! The owners are friendly and create a relaxing atmosphere. If you like innovative coffees and teas, go check out this gem!

Wow! Excellent find. Great local coffee shop using local coffee roasters and other products. This is the place for coffee snobs to coffee snobs. The nitro coffee selection is amazing. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable. If you live in the area this should be your daily coffee stop. I would easily drive out of my way for this place. Try it. You will not be disappointed. Thanks for a great experience.

Wow! That pb bourbon was incredible! I loved that I could try samples and the notes and flavors were explained. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

OMG they are so delicious!!! Love that we have nitro coffee here finally! So many options to choose from, both coffee and tea, they even have had a hot option! Try the cookies too!!

Absolutely fantastic coffee AND tea bar! We love going here--high-quality coffee and tea, great location, easy accessibility (right off of Kingston Pike), and very kind owners. While we tend to go for the nitro coffee (always a great selection, lots of different roasts, always something new to try) as well as the nitro tea (some of the best tea I have tasted locally, really well made), they offer a full menu of coffee and tea (i.e., lattes, pour-over, cappuccino, chai tea, matcha, etc.) where you are bound to find something to like. I also have really enjoyed their chai tea (it's a unique mix, and not too sweet, really delicious). They have very fast service and now offer locally-sourced baked goods as well. PLUS, they also offer kegs of nitro coffee or tea that you can rent for events! Although it may seem a little pricy, the rental keg is 100% worth it and better than any other bulk drip coffee that you can make or purchase locally. I will absolutely go back to them in the future for events because they have such great coffee! We really appreciate how creative and considerate the owners are at this coffee and tea bar. They have carved out a unique niche for themselves in the coffee scene in Knoxville and they produce outstanding coffee and tea. Plus, it's a great place to hang out and study! They have a really comfortable and modern seating area (plenty of seating, too!), with lots of natural light. A great place to go enjoy a cup of coffee and get some work and studying done. Definitely one of Knoxville's finest!

We stumbled upon this coffee and tea shop through their posts on Instagram and were delightfully surprised at the quality of their products. This I THE place if you want sophisticated tea and coffee without all the added syrups and junk. They have a large selection of Jackson Avenue Tea which is my favorite local tea. You can get it in a pot, cup or take home a bag of leaves.I highly recommend the Vanilla Creme Black Tea. The coffee is sublime too. We enjoyed the Nitro Diesel on tap and a true cappuccino. (it wasn't a latte in disguise, if you know what I mean.) Our second visit we delighted in the matcha and chai tea. (Best in Knoxville!) Seriously top notch ingredients. Your tastebuds will thank you. Highly recommend.
Delicious coffee and tea, and the cookies are the best thing ever!! I recommend this place to everyone, such a great atmosphere too. If you haven’t been yet, you are missing out big time!!

Dog friendly and the owners even gave my pup a treat. Will definitely be back! Chai latte was the best I’ve had in a while and the nitro tea was so smooth and creamy; best coffee shop in West Knoxville for sure.

I love the texture of nitro coffee, but had never found somewhere that the flavor was up to par. Intrepid definitely exceeds it! I got an americano, as I usually do at new coffee shops, but I got to sample some of the nitro and it was incredible. You can taste all the nuances to the roast -- the first one I tried was fruity and light, which I have never had in a nitro before! The staff really know their coffee and the vibes are fantastic. They don't carry flavored syrups, but you don't even need them with the quality of their coffee. I will definitely stop in again whenever I have the chance to!!!
It was my first time here and the whole experience was fantastic! The coffee is amazing and the owner took the time to explain all the different nitro taps. I highly recommend stopping in!
Great place if you enjoy coffee! They only have honey and maple syrup so if you want all the flavors of Starbucks you might be disappointed. There are hot nitro coffees, matcha, nitro teas, nitro cold brew and much more. Staff is super friendly and probably one of the best coffees we’ve had in Knoxville. The coffee does all the talking with the quality ingredients.
