Love this coffee shop! We rent it for family gatherings! We feel like we're at home. We can move the tables in a long, seat 24 or more and feast! There's an extra room for a table of food, a seated room for a quiet space, games, sofa seating and they will help ANY way they can. Great restrooms, parking...In South Knoxville, easy to find.

Staff was incredibly friendly and hand delivered my coffee outside. They also offered a pup cup for my dog, went back inside to get it, and walked that out to me as well. And they put treats in their pup cups! The inside is beautiful, it smells amazing, and they make their flavor syrups in house. Highly recommend.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good coffee, lots of fun community events (like Trivia Night and Sip and Shop) and support of other local businesses. Definitely a new South Knoxville treasure.

The staff was courteous and obliging to my back and forth request for oat milk in my decaf americano.🥴 Cool spot too.

Very friendly customer service. Gluten free options but do not try the cinnamon roll. The bagel is ok. London fog was great. Nice atmosphere.

Do not recommend this if youre on your way to work. Sat in the drive thru for over 5 minutes and the line doesn't move. Only one car in front of us. If someone has a large order they should tell them to pull ahead and then bring it out to them.

Very nice coffee shop. The building looks like it used to be a bank. Nice drive-through service. We had an iced latte and it was delicious. Good and strong yet smooth. Not too much ice. Very satisfied.

My husband and I went for the first time today and we both really enjoyed it. I had hot Chai and a bagel, my husband had a sticky bun and expresso. Both of our beverages and meal were prepared perfectly and served timely. We will certainly go back.

I’m a member of folk quartet The Starlight Darlins, and we played a show at CommonPlace on the evening of February 10. Eli and the whole staff there made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond anything we may have expected of them, staying well after their scheduled closing time to make sure our audience had access to amazing coffee and pastries. We were all just blown away by the coziness of this place, and the kindness of everyone there. These are good people, and they deserve all the support back that they so freely gave to us. I can’t recommend CommonPlace enough. Thank y’all for everything! 💙

Friendly, hospitable, and delicious coffee. Commonplace is the perfect sokno spot for all things coffee and community. Not only are their drinks divine and their staff friendly, they host the best gatherings, events and private parties. We had a private party for my 5 year old and Eli and his staff were amazingly accommodating. My daughter wanted a space to dance and they made that happen. Set up and clean up we’re easy and they made sure we had everything we needed along with their best in house coffee serving the adults. We are so thankful to call this little south Knoxville gem a part of our neighborhood and community.

The owner clearly knows what he is doing. He provides excellent service and can make a cappuccino that is up to Italian standards. I cannot say the same for the young people he hires. They do not seem to care very much about the quality of the espresso drinks--they all taste like lukewarm milk--and unless you come in the morning, the drip coffee is especially tepid. Also, the breads here, including croissant, taste manufactured like they come in plastic wrapping. I thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere here even though it really depends on the mood of the day's teenage staff. It is now the only reason I go in...hoping the owner will be the one to make me a decent cappuccino.
