Very cozy and relaxing place, would definitely come back. The bagel sandwiches were great but the best part was the resident black cat. 🐾

Always good quality food and coffee at Panacea. Its one of our favorite breakfast locations and their lunch is good as well. If you like locally roasted coffee, this is a don't miss.

Lovely spot to sit and chill. I had the London fog and it was the best I've ever had. The chocolate muffins are delicious and so was the turkey breakfast sandwich I tried.

The largest Coffee shop I’ve ever seen. Plenty of seating, absolute gorgeous outdoor area by the stream😍Dog friendly. Huge selection and loads of character. A must see if you’re in the area!

This place is my absolute favorite place in town, to go have a perfect cup of coffee. Smoothies and cold iced coffee here are so good to. They also have great lunches. Gluten free options are excellent including most of the time pastries & cookies. Cozy rustic environment with riverside chill spots. Local artists artwork is displayed around the shop. They are supporters of other local businesses. The customer service here is so great.

We live about 30 minutes away, and I found this place on Google Maps and wanted to give it a try! We have been here a couple of times so my photos are from different times. The first time we got bagels and some drinks, the second time we got something off of their sandwich menu. The bagels were great. I got a mango iced tea which came unsweetened but they gave me simple syrup to sweeten it up. The second time I got the wakey wakey sandwich which was delicious. My boyfriend and I really loved the atmosphere of the whole place. It was very cozy and welcoming. We saw the coffee bean roaster in action during our second visit, and watched it for a little bit. The owner saw us watching it and came over to explain the process to us, which was very nice. I will definitely be taking friends and family who visit here!

This has been our Saturday morning coffee shop for over 15 years. Brian's watched our kiddos grow and we've watched their business grow. Best coffee, food, and service in town!!!

Most welcoming staff, VERY helpful and understanding when asking about diabetic and allergy needs. Food and drink are freshly made, top notch, and great quality. They put love into everything they do! Well done and to a happy future of success to these warm, kind people. We will be back when we are in town. Cheers!

I love coffee shops and make finding a fun, local shop a focus any time I am visiting a town/city. Panacea is one of those places that makes this pursuit worthwhile. The coffee is simply amazing. My husband and daughter were in Waynesville a few days before I arrived and they called me from Panacea to tell me what a treat was in store when I got to try it. I loved the coffee so much I bought pounds of it to resell in my flower shop in Raleigh. You can tell it is roasted with love and care and great attention to quality. The coffee drinks on the menu are interesting but not overly fussy. The food is great and again straightforward and prepared as if for family. A must stop in the NC mountains!

Good food, friendly staff. A coffee house/Cafe feel. Outside patio located on a waterway in the back.

This is a great spot to enjoy great coffee. Lovely outdoor seating by the river and spacious indoor seating area. In my experience, this is the best coffee in town. Unfortunately, the food is just not up to par with the coffee. While the food is good quality ingredients, the recipes and presentation are uninspiring.
