Been coming here for years on our camping trips to Black Mountain. Always great coffee, a quaint experience, and beautiful spot.
Nice atmosphere and place to chill, barista seemed a bit apathetic. Nice gluten/dairy free options for treats!

A cozy little, locally run coffee shop, with awesome customer service. Their drink size and selection are limited, but, it's not Starbucks, and they're better because they're not! They have soy and oat milk and their pastries are locally made. If you're looking to enjoy some local goodness, this is the spot!

Very cool downtown cafe - only down side is how popular it is. They carry the high end Asheville Tea Co tea - which is amazing!
We found this place while on vacation and loved it! Came here 3 times this week and every time the young girls working were so nice and the coffee was consistently good! Highly recommend this place!!
Great coffee shop with a nice atmosphere. The pastries are delicious, and they have vegan and gluten-free options. I asked for a barista's choice coffee, and got an absolutely amazing caramel cookie flavored latte. Definitely recommend!

I accidentally broke my chemex this morning so I went into the dripolator to grab a coffee. It wasn’t busy, but I stood in front of the register for probably just under 5 minutes before the staff acknowledged my presence. I felt unwelcome. They proceeded to fill teas and the pastry case before even making eye contact. I have worked in coffee shops before, I understand down time is used to restock what you can. A simple “Hi, we will be right with you” would have gone a long way. Next time I’m in need of a drip I will take my business down the road. Customer service matters, but thank you for the coffee.
The killer bee iced coffee was delicious and so was the lemon poppyseed cake! The service was friendly and quick! In and out in two minutes
Been coming here for years, amazing place with great atmosphere and organic coffee locally roasted and made into many wonderful drinks, lots of food options also, prepared items like breads and desserts and muffins mainly.
LOVE the Dripolator! My real estate firm has been coming here for years and their cortado never disappoints!! Highly recommend stopping by when you’re in Black Mtn.
I Stop here twice a year on my way to black mountain. My favorite coffee shop in the whole USA.
TLDR: Delicious cappuccino, super friendly and accommodating staff, welcoming, and contentious place. Black Mountain is low on the list of places I would go while hunting for good coffee. But I found it here anyway! They use local grass fed milk, do t print receipts (“saving the planet one receipt at a time”), and seem just to be super lovely people. The cappuccino was great traditional size. Barista offered to make it a double and while it was pretty strong, the amazing milk and milk texture was really balancing. Not disappointed at all! This is my first coffee in Black Mountain, I’m not sure why I would go anywhere else.
Coffee and pastries were good I had the triple berry tart, and Carmel latte. They can be busy, but they are quick to get your order out
The cubano is the best I’ve ever had. So amazing! I love that they have grass fed, local milk, and retro decor.
