This place rules. Friendly staff. Quick service, unique donuts. Their selection of allergy free and vegan options is equal to the selection of regular donuts. The gluten free garlic butter donut is the most delicious donut I've ever had. It pairs extremely well with a strawberry and mango. So good!

Hot vegan donuts and punks. What more do you need in life? The donuts are huge but so good that you will definitely need to get more than one!

We stop here anytime we're in Asheville! Just fantastic donuts. Gluten free options, too -- just get there early.

After seeing the reviews I wanted to love it. We drove quite a ways to try the donuts. I was super disappointed. They tasted over fried and left a bitter greasy taste. Unfortunately we got several to bring home too and they definitely don’t keep well. A few hours after arriving home I went to eat one of the jam filled ones I had bought but it was so bad I had to toss it and the others. I feel like it was a waste of 25$ for sure. We won’t be back. Also fyi it’s a vegan place which is great but if you are like me and need real cream for your coffee you won’t get it here. They have oat milk 🤮 not the same as a real creamer!

Dough House is phenomenal! Finding made-to-order, fresh vegan donuts is amazing and especially when they come in so many flavors. I came here for my birthday and ordered a dozen of their square donuts. I especially enjoyed the one with strawberry and matcha, chocolate and coconut bacon, and mango and strawberry. If you’re stopping in Asheville, this place is worth a little extra driving!

Friendly is the word, as we stopped at Dough House. We saw the Chefess top each of our doughnuts while our beverage was prepared. Outside at a table (nice day) we tasted our purchase. They were wonderful! Light, no hint of grease, flavorful doughnut and warm soft topping. Wonderful! My Expresso Chocolate was gone, and so was my Cinnamon before I could take a photo. So I got two more to show.

Holy $#!+. These doughnuts are amazing and easily some of the best I've ever had - vegan or not. Totally worth the price and definitely worth the short wait. Even the coffee was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's really too bad I couldn't box up the entire business and take it home with me.

They were absolutely amazing. Fresh. Very friendly staff. PLUS Gluten free option! But get there early because with how delicious they are the GF option isn’t there for too long! But if you need some you can always call a day in advance!

If I could give zero stars, I would. It looked promising and had lots of good reviews, but the doughnut was cold. They’re supposed to be made to order and fresh but I know for a fact that it wasn’t. I paid $4.00 for ONE doughnut!! I don’t mind paying if it’s worth it, but this one for sure wasn’t. The dough was dense and heavy. Not light and airy as a yeast donut should taste. I had high hopes but my overall experience is that this donut was nasty. Just not what I expected, totally don’t recommend. Update:**** I went back in and was given a refund. Thank you for that. I was told that those donuts are fried in advance so if that’s the case, don’t advertise that they are.

Incredible. Amazing. Absolutely UNREAL. Stopped here before our way back home on a road trip and eating these donuts was an out-of-body experience. The donuts were warm because they’re all made fresh, perfectly crisp on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside, and ABSOLUTELY delicious. The texture inside is like fresh sourdough. I got the savory spicy garlic butter donut as well and I’m still dreaming about it a month later. I can’t wait to go back to Black Mountain and eat these donuts. The flavor is impeccable. You’d never know they were vegan!
