Local coffee shop in a good location. Absolutely loved the atmosphere both inside and out. I had a vanilla latte with oat milk & a breakfast croissant that were both perfect for on the go. Highly recommend a visit!

Nice local coffee shop in Ankeny. Nice vibe..cool atmosphere and the salted nut roll latte is amazing. Scones were good too. Will definitely be back when we're here for other sporting events at the nearby sports complex.
Great flavored coffee options! Baked goods and breakfast sandwiches are also very good. Nice free wifi connection. If you're looking for a change of scenery to work on something, this is a perfect place to go!
Great place. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great place to meet a friend over a cup of coffee. Only small issue was that the coffee wasn't very hot. It came from a large insulate carafe and it was luke warn. Tasted good, but should have been a little hotter.
Excellent customer service. I have been buying my beans here for a few years now and on the rare occasion I ever had an issue, the owner, Joel, always took care of me. Super nice guy.
A nice place to socialize in downtown Ankeny. The coffee is great and the atmosphere is light. I greatly enjoy when the worship music comes on also. Thank you Lord!
This is an awesome little coffee shop. The coffee is good and the atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing with plenty of places to sit. They even have a fireplace in the middle of the room with a couch. And they have a bunch of little knick knacks and clever decorations.

My favorite coffee shop for many reasons. The drinks are great and the atmosphere is cozy, yet features many tables for setting up your laptop if you want to get some work done. Its building in Uptown Ankeny is beautiful and the perfect place to stop if you want something to sip while supporting the other local businesses in the area. Perhaps most importantly, the owners and employees are KIND. I haven’t once in five and a half years been greeted with anything less than a smile and warm welcome. When you lead a business with kindness and compassion and a heart for others, everything else seems to fall into place, and Porch Light proves this to be true. I’m so glad they have become an Uptown mainstay and I will support them every step of the way in the future!
Cozy local café. Plenty of seating available. I ordered the Honey Brown Sugar Latte and thought it was delicious! I had mine iced but I bet it’d be yummy hot, too. Free WiFi and wall outlets, so I was able to bring my laptop to work. Would be a cozy place to study or meet with friends/family too. Will definitely be coming back!

Owner made my coffee, and it was to die for. The little one loves looking at all of the merchandise (which is so cute) while we wait. Will be back.
