The barista suggest a yummy drink and was able to make it to my specs. The little chicken pastry was tasty. Will be back yo try the toast!
I’m new to Ankeny and been looking for a good coffee shop. Ordered the Cyclone as recommended by the barista and I love it! It doesn’t taste too sweet, everything was well-balanced but to my taste, I kinda prefer a stronger coffee taste 😄 The scone was great as well but the chocolate topping too sweet for me, so I’d like to taste the original or something with nuts or dried fruit if they do have one. Definitely will go there again to taste more menu!
The coffee was excellent and the service was even better. You cannot beat this chill vibe this place has inside. A must place to visit!

Interesting concept. The coffee was a bit watered down and tasted more like flavored water than a true latte style.. but this could just be a personal preference. Service was on the slower side but this could just be an exception. For the price the food is not that great.. But certainly unique and good. It's definitely worth checking out once.
Best place if you need to experience a great environment and perfect office, when you go ask for the Blue Bean signature salteña.

Toast sampler excellent, our lattes a bit warm, not hot. Friendly staff and service great. Would have given a 5 star but lattes not that hot.
I loved Blue Bean coffee shop and co-work space. Airy, clean, comfortable ... plus the lead barista was wonderful, it was obvious he knows a lot and loves his job. If this place offered a franchise, I'd recommend starting them all over!
Coffee here is some of the best I have had in the area. Also has an office attached to it looks good for remote workers.

We used Blue Bean for a graduation party, and it could not have gone more smoothly! The space was ample for our crowd, and people could circulate easily. The coffee and salteñas were very popular as well! Thank you, Carlos and Ximena, for facilitating a wonderful evening!
