Lovely little cafe in Ankeny. I had a chai latte and my boyfriend had their dark roast. Both drinks were excellent, as well as the bacon, egg & cheese croissant sandwich I had and the cinnamon roll pancakes my BF had. The interior is cozy, the staff was friendly, and our order overall was inexpensive. Definitely coming back here!

Nice atmosphere, great breakfast sandwiches, I got sun dried tomatoes sauce, loved it. And the best chai latte I've ever had. Average prices. Will definitely be back

First time stopping here was impressed the smoothie was made with fresh fruit and yogurt with a choice of ice cream instead it was delish. Very sweet drive thru gal.
So good! A nice place to do some studying/work and the food was great! The employees also gave good honest recommendations of dishes as well as how much to get. Definitely adding to my list of places to recommend.
Didn’t know until recently that Cafe Diem offered such great breakfast! Very large portions and exceptional taste. The cinnamon roll pancakes were fluffy and the whip cream has to be the real deal cause it’s texture and flavor is top notch. Food was ready quickly and served perfectly to order. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice cozy cafe I enjoyed my latte and my wife was really happy they still had pumpkin spice latte! The breakfast burrito was really good and the hash browns were cooked perfectly. Definitely a good stop for breakfast/brunch!
