I am a regular at this location. I keep coming back because I like the coffee but the staff is oftentimes very rude. This morning was clearly not a good morning for Stephanie. First, she was rude to the woman in front of me and then she loudly yelled at her coworker when I pointed out that I ordered oat milk, not whole milk. I don’t consume dairy. She went on to complete three orders that came in after mine before remaking my drink. I will likely use up my reward points and go somewhere in the future.
Great place to sit and chat, also good for work. Me and a couple friends ordered frappes. I got the caramel frappe and it was honestly better than starbucks in my opinion and for about the same price.
Good atmosphere 👌
One of my favorite cafes in town. Their coffee beverages are great and it's a nice environment to stay and chat with people or just work. The drink flavors are not always super consistent, but they're pretty good most of the time.
I regularly stop in for a freshly ground pound of my favorite roast, Major Dickason's Blend.
Very friendly staff nice and clean food and coffee just ok can definitely get better for price.
Great staff! They close v early
I came in here at the recommendation of a friend and they were not wrong.... I had a delicious egg frittata and an Americano coffee and left impressed. The service was great at 7am and the patio was clean and comfortable... I am impressed with the coffee shops in Evanston and will return the next time I am in the area.
It's the best coffee I've had for a long time! I do wish they stayed open a bit later though.
Good coffee, very comfortable seating.
This was once the best Peet’s location. I’m not sure what happened or if everyone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. But within the past couple of months, the hours are not consistent. They are incredibly rude any time I walk in. And they also do not know how to make a frappe or cappuccino! There is either so much sugar or so little with too much coffee. Either way, it is too expensive to not have a decent drink. The flavour is never consistent. Service and customer support (online number) is terrible. I asked for my cappuccino to be remade not too long ago and they looked at me like a deer in headlights as if they couldn’t accommodate.
Ordered a simple medium dark coffee and waited over 5 minutes. There’s no line at all. They forgot about the order until I reminded them again! No apologies at all. Poor customer service. Do not recommend this place. There’s lots of coffee places out there.
One of the best coffee shops in downtown Evanston. Great place to hang out, meet friends or do some work. Lots of students and faculty from nearby Northwestern University. Part of a national chain but this feels like an independent coffee shop. One of the two original Peet's locations in the Chicago area, so it has a unique coffee brewing machine that makes a superior cup of brewed coffee that's better than any other Peet's location, or the brewed coffee at Starbucks.
They have 2 totally vegan sandwiches!!! And both are delicious, whether you are vegan or not. And they serve Mighty Leaf green tea which is the best...with a gentle citrus taste.
I had gotten the plant based sandwich today. Somehow another customer picked my sandwich, went through it & realized it wasn’t his… He ended up with 2 sandwiches while I had to wait a little longer for mine accompanied by a “sorry”
I love there coffes.... What else can I say!....
I really really love this coffee. Ok in the last 4 months I have ordered 3 ice Carmel mach. Everyday for my employees. In 6 days of being open I may get 2 made correct a week. But today is it for me. I ordered 3 they all look different and they all taste like coffee with cream not sweet or anything.
The only coffee I get from there is the holiday spice anything else I don't get
I was filled with Enthusiasm was I saw this coffee shop in Evanston, but I was disappointed with the careless service and the average taste of coffee!
Latte is fantastic! Great price with the student discount as well. Can’t wait to come back for more.
