Good coffee, nice college town vibe, very cozy place to meet up friends

Coffee was nice but one bathroom was out of order
Most outlets are not working and inside smells very bad 😭😭 and they use this kind of cups you can buy at Walmart. Pls search for more modern coffee shops.

Ube latte! Amaretto is my favorite latte flavor and this Ube latte reminds me of that. It’s a little different but has that sweet warm nutty flavor that’s so delightful and has become another favorite.
Looked like a nice place to drop in…HORRIBLE cup of drip coffee….weak …watered down and overpriced. Nice atmosphere…but HORRIBLE coffee!
Sometimes hard to find a seat but the coffee is worth it! Also grab a Filipino pastry because you won’t be disappointed!
They need to add a storefront vestibule in the winter because there is a cold draft every time the doors are opened.
A great Northwestern University coffee shop. Hard to get a table. Lots of academic energy in there.
Coffee Lab became a staple of mine as a student in fall 2019, then quite literally a part of my home when I moved into the building for the ‘21-‘22 school year. I have lost count how many times my friends and I have sent texts to each other just saying “Lab?” over the past 3 years. Service has always been exceptional, and if you go in enough you (and your drink!) will be remembered by the staff. It’s a great study or socializing spot, and really a centerpiece of my time living here. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors, and hopefully somewhere down the line I’ll get to visit again :)
Nice indoor vibe, especially for students. Ample seating. The latte, exceptional. I had my mocha latte taken accidentally, they immediately remade me one. Service is quick, and the drinks are phenomenal. Definitley coming back.
Good service and must try their Ube latte.. it is made from the Ube roots and has a taste of biscuit and coconut 😀
I love Coffee Lab. The employees are always very friendly. The seasonal drinks are unique but usually very good. In terms of food items, I've only tried the pork bun, but I really enjoyed the taste and texture. The quality of products is consistent and its proximity to the Noyes station and Northwestern University makes it a frequent stop for me.
They no longer serve the yummy scones. The mocha swirl was suggested instead. It is terrible. Strangly full of salt.
Coffee Lab is frickin awesome! Their matcha is $5.90!!! That’s so so affordable! I don’t know about you, but low reasonable prices keep me coming back. Located right off the Noyes purple line stop, Coffee Lab is very convenient if you’re out and about in the Evanston area. It’s a great place to go and get some work done or just enjoy a drink. By the way, if you’re not satisfied with your drink, they happily remake it for you. The seating here is great as well. They’ve got high tops that face the windows for a scenic view of the street and low tops in corners if you want a quiet corner to work. Can’t stop raving about this place. If you check out, I’ll probably be here drinking matcha :) Thank you Coffee Lab!
A really nice coffee place with good snack options, books, and also a few board games. It's usually crowded in the afternoons but early mornings tend to be less crowded. Since it's closer to Noyes cta, it makes it more convenient place if you want to while away your time waiting for transit.
