Good customer service and the store is pretty well stocked. I haven't stopped here in years so I was a bit sad to see that it seems to have gone downhill a bit but I'm happy to see they are still in business.

Now that was good food. I'm from the Midwest and it's hard to find these gas station restaurants in the valley. But this one is a hit. Real good food

I wish I could leave a positive thing here. However the practices of food handling and food safety are a MAJOR CONCERN. The staff within the cafe are inexperienced. I’ve witnessed the worst cross contamination I’ve seen in a kitchen happen here and the owner continues to allow it. Food being served out of dirty dishes. Being cooked on dirty grills. If you’ve had diarrhea from here it’s probably due to the lack of cleaning. The bacon you eat on your burgers is either old old bacon as pictured. Or it’s probably not cooked throughly. I’ve witnessed a 75 year old customer clean up the dumpster area and inside the cafe because again staff won’t do it. They have removed so many things from the menu all because they don’t want to learn how to properly prepare and serve the food. As the removed review that forcefully removed by shady acres skip this place. Go to Jackson’s. If you do stop in here…just ask for directions to the next gas station.

Was recommended here for breakfast burritos. Came in and ordered a breakfast burrito to go and was extremely disappointed in the service. Got treated like I was an inconvenience to the workers. While I was waiting for my food someone walked up and was waiting for over 10 minutes to get help in putting his order. I was running late for work and when I finally got the attention of one of the workers to ask her if the burritos that were on the menu were the same as the ones that were on the display at the gas station area were the same so I could take one of those instead, she responded with attitude and the lady who was making the food overheard and brought my burrito and shoved it in my hands and I was quickly dismissed. When I ate my burrito it was extremely greasy and small and I was overall disappointed. McDonalds has better breakfast burritos and service then this place.

the only thing “shady” about this place is the name! my friend cara (kara?) left her binder and they said “it’s okay! no really! it’s okay! ” really awesome and we had laughs. also i think i came here before a trip to Challis (small city in Idaho, kinda quirky). my trip was okay i went during labor day weekend so there wasn’t much going on in the town but i still had fun. i got a sprite lymonade here. great gas and i would definitely recommend. revision: i remember now that this experience was at a different gas station. this station is the one Larry Nigro always talks about lol. 5 stars

Great place! Someone bought a red bull for me here once I think. Cashier said I looked like Axl Rose; I don't see it but beauty is in the eye of the beholder! An acre is about the size of 2,787,840 dinosaur chicken nuggets to get an idea of the scale

Used to be one of the best kept secrets in the area for GREAT burgers (for 15 years!) Not anymore. Stopped in today for the first time in a year or so - I was sorely disappointed. They used to have great patties on their burger and heaping tots to go with it. Today it was a burnt, paper-thin patty like you’d expect to see at a high school football concession stand. Tots were 1/2 what they used to be. I hope they bounce-back to the great food they used to have for so many years.

When I went in the morning, the young thin gal is rude and always has an attitude. Rang up the order wrong and when you say something she gets rude. Was charged for something I didn't and ordered two pancakes and was charged for two but only got one. The side of gravy I got was half empty. I also called in an order a few days ago and the same gal helped me. When I picked it up my order was wrong again. When I said something she just told me I was wrong. I told her the order again and she was very short with me. Disappointing to say the least.

We eat there often for breakfast. Good food great prices, but please wipe down the window cills, you have bugs on them and distracts when eating,.

I am shocked that all the years I've lived in this area I've never heard of stopping for a bite to eat at Shady Acres. This place is been here forever and I always thought it was just a convenience store and gas station. I had the Bronco Billy burger basket named after when Clint Eastwood Shot the movie Bronco Billy here. The basket was only $6.39 and included a large double Patty burger, drink and a large portion of fries or tater tots.
