Conveniently located on the highway coming down the hill from Volcano to Hilo, this cute cafe makes a great stop to grab some comfort food or green and roasted coffee. Local art and books make a relaxing environment.

Da Beans Cafe was a great experience overall! We were kindly welcomed the second we walked in to the cute cafe. The man working have us lots of good suggestions as to what to get and helped us pick what to get. We had never tried raw coffee before and enjoyed the experience! We also has French toast that was amazing, and hot off the grill. Would definitely recommend this spot!

One word: amazing! I had the Truffled Avocado Toast—the truffle paired wonderfully with the avocado, egg, and Brie cheese. My significant other had the Savory Smoked Salmon, Lox and Arugla Bagel—the spread was perfectly prepared. I also tried a cold brew coffee creation made with 100% Kona Raw Green Bean, which I hadn’t had before—so refreshing and clean. We would absolutely recommend this spot!

Stopped in here on our way to Volcano. Everything we had was absolutely amazing! We had the Dream cold brew, the Irish man cold brew, the truffle avocado toast, and the salmon lox bagel, and a mango smoothie. Yum!!! The chef definitely knows what she is doing. The flavors just melt together so wonderfully. Would definitely stop in again. Great informative owners as well.

Da Beans was a wonderful roadside surprise! It was my first time tasting green coffee and it was truly delicious. The owner gave us some free vitamin drinks too, he was incredibly welcoming and informative. Honestly a wonderful experience I highly recommend!

Adorable coffe shop/cafe with tons of books and art to enjoy. Food and drinks are made with health in mind, wholesome local ingredients. The truffle avo toast was like nothing I’ve ever had before. Will be back! Appreciated having gluten free bread for the delicious French toast.

Exquisite down to earth comfort. The owner is a peacefully warm individual who takes pride in the heritage of his establishment. The walls are decorated with fine local artist's heartfelt photos, stained glass, paintings, cards...of Hawaii's teasures. The food selection appears gourmet style with an array if satisfying drinks. The soothie I purchased 'it the spot' & the turtle painting & stained glass dolphins will create the Soulfull Ambience of the Hawaiian Culture Forever in my residence Mahalo, DaBeans Green

Wonderful unique small business serving coffee and breakfast fare. House specialty is green coffee (unroasted). Friendly owner gave us a cup of Joe free as it was closing time.

This my favorite place to eat on a Sunday morning after dancing my butt off the night before. Beautiful art all over, excellent conscious hip hop in the air, along with the smell of the most delectable coffee selections you could desire.. definitely a place to make you stop and smell the roses, talk some story, and enjoy a good book from the free library (feel free to bring one to donate). Excellent service - just as long as not gone fishing.

We stopped in for a snack. Kim was delightful. Used the bathroom in the hostel and that place is bright with color as is the café. Art is everywhere. I hadn't been on island for 14 hours when I asked Kim about the hostel (plan B). She happily took down my number and sent me a text with the link to the hostel website. 25+ years in hospitality, I'm very critical. I highly recommend stopping by for a bite or a night!

This place is awesome! So glad they’re here. I got an organic berry smoothie that hit the spot, just before I was making a long drive back South. Looking forward to experiencing more of their food and beverages…

#BestcoffeeinHawaii , something different and leaves a fruity flavor in your mouth besides a bitter after taste like most brews. #bestbreakfast on the go, the Avacado on toast was amazing #bestplacetoeatinMtview not may on the go reasonably priced places to get a home cooked meal. As I woke up late to take my kids to school, I was hungry and needed to break my fast before going work all day. I stopped in this side of the highway coffee shop and food. Great service and great food 👌. Coffee picked me up and got me ready to go. I absolutely recommend you try this cute family place.
