Nice place for quick coffee or tea. Price is little more than other coffee shops. Customer service is very good.
No acai bowl now. it's not on the menu. FYI coffee is good by the way.
Ordered a flat white. It was amazing. Loved the coffee. Very smooth. Also got a berrybran muffin which was less sweet more berries.
Had coffee here frequently! Great tasting coffee and good food as well!
The Kona Coffee team embodies Aloha spirits. Not only are the people wonderful, but also their coffee and honey. So delicious and special!
Great coffee. Beautiful place with amazing mountain views. Super nice and helpful staff. Just one problem. There was a homeless man walking around the parking lot with a hunting knife. He appeared unstable and terrorized pretty much everyone that crossed his path. It created an unsafe situation for everyone there.
Coffee is good and nicely presented. Didn’t have my first choice available, however happy with my latte.
Sat outside with my husband with our laptops doing work. Manager asked us to leave because “this is private property and only customers can be here”. He didn’t even ask if we planned to get a drink/order. Not giving someone with this attitude my business. Left and didn’t even get to try anything.
Great atmosphere, outdoor/indoor seating, outdoor seating wraps around the building, nicer upscale coffee options, food options were limited, but felt healthier. Just a little pricier. If you're ok with a pricier coffee place this is a good option. I liked it overall and felt like a better option than Starbucks and would recommend this to anyone that feels like Starbucks is in their price range.
There are many similarly named cafes in this area, but if you’re looking for a quick, healthy breakfast this gem has the freshest and best variety! Most importantly, parking is very plentiful and easy — it’s at the top of the hill before the touristy cruise strip with resorts. Seating is plentiful inside and on the wrap-around porch, where I ate with many feathered and scaly companions. The papaya boat with Greek yogurt and local granola was delectably fresh; my mocha was smooth and rich! Highly recommend if you’re on your way through Kona after a dive or snorkel.
Their peaberry coffee wasn’t fresh and untasty
People are extremely friendly. They make you feel welcome. The best coffee to get on this island. They do know how to make it right! The job is done well 👍 Latte is a must. I have been drinking coffee all my life and I can tell if coffee is good or not. I highly recommend this place!!!
Very good quality coffee and espresso drinks. Fairly priced, really convenient location with plenty and easy parking. The real winners in this place are their exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff and owner. Seriously some of the best service you'll receive. On an island filled with some of the best coffee in the world, Kona Coffee is hands down one of my favorite spots.
I love this place ! The drinks and food are great (coffee is fantastic) … staff is super friendly and Jan & Dan are the best of the best ! I stop in every few days any time I’m on island (which is yearly since 2017)
Locally grown beans, very good coffee. My wife had a latte w/ hazelnut and half and half. She loved it. I had an americano with coconut milk and it was very good.
Great coffee. Had the Americano & Cold Brew.
This place is awesome! We had a farm tour with them and absolutely loved it! We also bought a variety of products afterwards and loved each of them. Seriously recommend visiting the shop, trying their chocolate/nuts, cosmetics, and, of course, coffee!
This place seriously changed my perspective on how coffee’s should be made. You definitely taste the quality and it makes a big difference. The place is comfy and cozy too, makes you want to stay for a second cup!
We stopped in almost every single day of our vacation. Everything I've tried is amazing! Great quality coffee and wonderful staff! Always a pleasant experience.
Our group came here twice. Both times were nice with ample outside seating and lots of shade. The second time, I decided to treat myself and get the Peaberry pour over. Very disappointing. Knowing the intricacies of pour over, I was very dissatisfied to see the lack of effort and attentiveness to the process. The barista did the initial pour and the left for a period of time to do other stuff, leaving the coffee grounds to pile up on the sides and not get even extraction. They came back and poured more water over the uneven grounds and left again. Paying 11 dollars you expect more care and a bit of an experience (and not a paper cup). Perhaps a little more employee training for pour overs would produce a better experience :)
