The people here were super nice, food/drinks came out quite fast, and my wife’s latte was good. Unfortunately, the sandwiches we got were pretty poor and neither of us could finish them. The vegetables were slimy/wilted in the Naked Veggie sandwich and the Zeus. The Zeus had no sign of being grilled/warmed and the focaccia was stale, it fell apart in my hands every time I tried to take a bite, in the end about half of the bread was left crumbled in the container. The chips in the boxes were not crispy but that could’ve been the moisture from the sandwiches combined with the foil lined boxes. Based on the other reviews, I bet it was just a bad day and isn't indicative of the average experience here. The bill ended up being $35 for two sandwiches and a small coffee.

"Island Corner Cafe" is one of my favorite spots in Kailua-Kona to grab breakfast and a cold brew. I've been coming here since they opened, and it's always a treat. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is great. They have delicious donuts and smoothies, especially the Chunky Monkey. I've also enjoyed their breakfast sandwich and the Gobbler, which I've had a few times. It's a simple place with a lot of variety and is definitely worth checking out if you're in town. I usually stop in two to three times a week for a quick bite before starting my day or after a surf session. 💯
This is a hidden gem. Must try the mud pie and some type of chocolate brownie with white cream. Well worth the drive.
Amazing stuff. Very friendly and smiley. But the food is terrible. I got a croissant with egg and potatoes. The croissant is stale and the potatoes are all burned!
Stopped in to check out this new coffee shop. Was looking forward to it. Ordered a coffee and a sandwich. They look good. However, when I asked to use the bathroom they said they don't give out the key anymore and they directed me to a completely different businesses bathroom. Sure that other business is not too happy about that.
Had ube latte and nutty latte. Very delicious. There donuts are to die for. Tried ube chatilly, guava shortcake, strawberry cheesecake and macadamia nuts donut. Must try it. Very reasonable prices
So thankful I found this place while running errands. Sunrise wrap and coconut milk latter was delicious, got some donuts to treat loved ones at home ❤️ staff super friendly

I might be in trouble with my waist line after finding this place!!! What an awesome place!! The staff was so friendly!!! Donuts where unbelievable!!!! Coffee was great! Great vibe!! Nice outdoor seating! Very nice hangout place! Very inviting atmosphere!! I can’t wait to come back! I really want to try their maple bacon donut!!! This place has great vibes but the food was just ok. The brownies are amazing though. Got a body builder salad with balsamic and lillikoi dressings which was yummy. The slam dunk sandwich was super good as well. The pastrami was way small and not the greatest.
Not open on Sunday is important to note. Not complaining about it, just wanted to make sure anyone reading this was aware. Menu looks fantastic and the prices are awesome! Popped in to grab a quick coffee and donuts and I will be for sure going back for breakfast or lunch. Food looks great, the wait doesn't seem to be too long, especially on island time 😜
Ordered online, which was the right move given how busy it was when I arrived. A very polished looking spot, wish I had gone for the donuts. The hot breakfast food was OK but kind of underwhelming breakfast burrito and the avocado toast was just alright. Unfortunately, it was the worst coffee we’ve had in Hawaii. I don’t know what happened to it but I couldn’t drink it and my partner chugged it so he wouldn’t have to taste it. 4 for environment, 3.5 for food, and 1 for coffee.

This place is great. We had some delicious coffees and sandwiches. The staff is super friendly. Make sure you try the doughnuts, they are some of the best I've ever had and I'm always on the hunt for a good doughnut!
