Shirts hug up on the glass when you walk in so you can’t see the disgusting preparation of your crepe. Meat is all frozen you can tell. The crepe batter is mixed with a drill that isn’t cleaned. The reply the owner made is very childish and disrespectful. God loves you.
Delicious and was made fairly fast for the big crowd they were serving!
Tried to go at 9:20 (20 minutes after they were supposed to open). The girl was making a crepe in the window. We were turned down because they only had one employee even though there were clearly 2 people in there making themselves breakfast. They couldn’t make time for 2 simple crepes. Judging from the other reviews, I’m glad I didn’t end up here! 1 star because 0 isn’t possible
Best crepes we’ve had in a while!! Highly recommend them for breakfast, lunch or dessert. And their brown sugar, cinnamon iced coffee with almond milk was the best coffee I had while visiting Helen!! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Helen.
Just came in for the bakery selection. Not very much but the macaroons were great!
Nice little Crepe Shop. The food was good and the service was excellent. It's a little small. I would go back.
I had a turkey avocado crepe and it was so delicious!
Came at 10am Wednesday May 3rd. Their hours online and hours posted at the door said they were open. They were closed and we had already paid for parking. We had to go elsewhere. I'm sure there is probably a good reason but this was really frustrating.
I’m personally not a fan of getting two overdone crepes with hardly anything in them for $18. Incredibly overpriced, both in terms of quality and quantity. Edit: apparently I got a response to my initial review and here it is. They deleted the response that I thought people might like to see. “Hello did you ask them to make another? SMH so you just want you to complain.” I shouldn’t have to complain to get good food at a restaurant. Won’t be back. Ever.
Debated on whether to share my thoughts. After reading months back of reviews, I've realized I'm not the only one that felt the pricing model was steep compared to the product. The service was great, very kind and personable gentleman. It was the cost that led me to this review/warning. The starting price for a crepe seemed appropriate although it would be bland. It's when you add additional toppings that one goes from reasonable to expensive. $1-3 for each additional topping (including powdered sugar) would add up quick, and it did for my wife's crepe with 2-3 extras. The taste was just ok for us, which was kind of expected for a traditional crepe, but for me cost didn't equal worth of ordinary taste. Also thought about having a coffee drink with it, but then noticed the trucker gas station cappuccino machine. So be aware of that if you're used to crafted coffee drinks. Unfortunately like most places in Helen, GA this place seems to have that tourism upcharge. Recommend passing unless the prices level out some.
Went in here because the sign said they had German Chocolate Cake. I asked the cashier if they had any and he said yes. I get to my car and open the box… it is just regular chocolate cake.
Hofers was packed, so we came here and it worked out. Fast and friendly, the crepes are delicious!
My family of four enjoyed brunch here. We ordered crepes filled with sausage, egg, and cheese. The portions were generous. The only drawback is that it was a pricey meal after drinks, and the inside isn't very roomy. On the other hand, we can skip lunch today.
Thinking this was a real coffee shop, I ordered a cappuccino, and received a sugary powdered drink like you get in the gas station. Then when I asked for a refund the cashier had to call the owner for permission to give a refund. Seriously... So I told her not to worry about it and asked to exchange it for a regular coffee, which tasted ok, but I paid the "cappucino" price for it. I remember Helen being cool as a kid, but it's sort of dingy and run down feeling now. Skip the whole place imo.
Nothing on the actual menu was available. No bananas, no alcoholic beverages, 9 flavors of coffee not available, one size of regularly flavored coffee. Not sure why the ask you to grab a menu and nothing on it is available anyway.
Best crepe ever, cozy little place. I loved it! Highly recommend
When I visited, there was only one employee working up front and one in kitchen around mid day on a Saturday, and they were amazing! The food tasted awesome, came out much quicker than I thought it would, and they were very patient with us while handling other customers. Absolutely will be visiting again and definitely recommend a stop in
My girl and I wanted some authentic crepes, and this is the only spot to come to get them. I highly recommend it. The desserts are great, too.
The concept is very cool but the crepe (with “fresh” strawberries and blueberries) had zero flavor and it wasn’t cooked on both sides. Oh and one crepe with nothing is $10…$2-3 for each extra ingredient. Edit/Response: My wife and I cook crepes several times a month and the supplies to make one might cost $5 and that’s a fantastic crepe. Your crepe was so awful it nearly ruined our entire trip…. Maybe you should eat your own crepes instead of arguing with customers. Just a thought.
Not sure I can call these crepes because that is not how they are supposed to taste like. I echo the other negative reviews. The “crepes” themselves have no flavor and were only cooked on one side which and ended up being undercooked; the fruit we got as toppings were not fresh. They’re overpriced and tasteless. Utter disappointment, would not recommend.
