The bakery and the restaurant were both amazing. We were recommended to go twice on our trip, but we ended up going 3 times 😁 The Reuben from the restaurant and the blueberry cheese Danish and strawberry cheese Danish from the bakery were all amazing!

Food was about an 8/10 but the service was great. Pretty busy but a good place for breakfast. They stop service at 10:30 and switch over for lunch.

Get there early if you're going for breakfast 😋. The wait wasn't bad and it's such a cute little place. They have indoor/outdoor seating. The bakery with German desserts & breads..YUM! The staff were very helpful & friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely a place you need to eat or grab some baked goods to take home, if they make it before you eat them😁

Overall not really good experience. I really didn't got chance to try there food but yes, we were late for breakfast, and the lady told us they will start lunch at 12.00, she was rude, then we went to front counter to try some cake had 1 slice of cake, but was ok, not Wow but ok, was also very expensive. than we went to some other place for breakfast, I don't know we will go next time.

We had to wait for a table but it was well worth it. Delicious. Best German food since I was in Germany. Will definitely go back next time we're in Helen. I also got cold cuts to take home and enjoy later.

Everything is the bakery was amazing...we tried everything over the course of our stay. I was disappointed in breakfast. There are 13 tables and 2 servers. I highly recommend pushing past the dining room line and grabbing some items from the bakery, eating them outside, and not walking for an hour for food you can make at home. They advertise free parking, but it fills up and then touristy leave that cars there. There's paid parking right across the street, and you can come and go all day.

Was here when they opened, 8AM. The line gets long quick. Luckily, I got a table right at 8. Ordered the mountain hiker breakfast with coffee, and it came within 5 minutes. WOW! The food was fantastic, great portion and excellent roles. Recieved a warm up on the coffee before it was even half empty. Had to get a few things from the retail shop. If back in the area, this will be a must go back.

This was sooo good. We went to this bakery to get some Bavarian cupcakes which by the way where delicious ! The next day we went for Brunch. If you get there before 11:30am or after cause around 11 they do the switch in the menu from breakfast to lunch Other than that the food was great!

Best breakfast in town. If you haven’t tried this place before you are definitely missing out! The best fresh bread ever!

YUM! Went for breakfast and it was delicious. The dining room (inside) is small and there were 2 servers busting their butts, and doing a great job to feed everyone. We were a party of 4 & had the Mountain Climber's Breakfast, Belgian Waffle, Ham & Cheese Omelet and Pregel & Lox - we all enjoyed our breakfast. GO EARLY! We arrived a little after 9 and were seated right away. When we left a little after 10 the wait line was out the front door. They had a picture of their current special, their famous chicken salad on a fresh baked croissant, that looked so good. They don't serve it during breakfast though. We will plan to go to Hofer's for lunch during our next trip to Helen to get their famous chicken salad croissant

Don’t forget to stop here (we couldn’t have breakfast, it was busy… reallyyy busy). We got some pastries 🥮 to take home (good thing that we are way apart from here, because this is dangerously delicious 🤤)… the cream puffs are yummylicious, the cream cheese/blueberry danish, apple strudel… go in and get sweet 😉

✅ Recommend: Bratwurste (Bratwurst) - a bit too salty for me but overall a good-taste plate! ❌ Cream puff: bought at the bakery - For a $6.64 cream puff, it's a disappointment. It was expensive yet tasted greasy and not tasty at all. 📝 Note: The staff was friendly. Yet need a long wait. Considering the price, service, and the food, it was okay level.

Couldn’t give them the 5 stars… they were not serving breakfast outside, so it was only inside(place is not very big) and the line was pretty long in the morning, and later it gets more and more longer the line. You have to go early to eat in peace. Another thing is the chairs was sticky, a little cleaning needed. But then, the breakfast we had was very good! And the service too. So 4 stars for that. Just be there early and everything will be nice.

Food was pretty good. We have had better at a local bakery and other vacation spots (cannolis and danishes). The staff seemed busy even though the crowd was low on a mid-Tuesday. There were no gluten or dairy free options, which made it difficult for my special needs child to understand. Overall an okay place to stop for a treat if you do not have any allergies.

A waitress threatened to spit in our food after we asked why we weren’t told about the 20% gratuity fee and was rude to my family visiting the U.S. for the first time from Germany. The wait was very long and the food was not worth it. We paid $60 for 2 Bratwursts and a ham and cheese sandwich. Would not recommend, there are definitely better places to eat in Helen. Furthermore, the potato salad was not authentic German potato salad and it was hardly edible.

This was the best spot in Helen, if you want to get breakfast get there before 9 AM to avoid the line. Great imports, the pastries and cakes are just like in Germany, the breakfast was five stars, and Barbara, our waitress is a darling - we will be back for sure!
