Personally think this is the BEST coffee in Santa Cruz
Great roasted and prepared coffee for all coffee lovers.
Part of a coffee chain with a few shops in Santa Cruz, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Beautiful small shop with green plants, seating inside and comfortable wooden benches to sit outside. Friendly baristas, high tech espresso machines and free wifi. No outlet to charge your iPhone on the go. Choice between two espresso blends. Offers pour overs. I had the Americans with the Ethiopian blend and it was ok but did not kick me out of my socks like other specialty coffee shops . At 4 dollars is a bit on the expensive side for me coming from outside town but I guess this is Santa Cruz! Verdict: specialty coffee wise is good but not great. A bit of a crowd pleaser.
No visit to Santa Cruz is complete without a stop to Verve, and this is my fave location of all. Think this is where it all started too?
Your barista absolutely knows how to make their coffee right. They were able to make something which was not even on the menu and made it to my expectation. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
4.50 for a 12oz drip coffee.
Plenty of coffee and kombucha options to choose from. Tried Chai Tea Latte and Hot Chocolate. Both of them were very tasty and authentic. Latte was not completely hot, recommend them to do it extra hot. Overall, Staff were very friendly out there and explained all the coffee options.
For true coffee lovers, this is the place! Staff is super fun and friendly and shop is an experience in it self! 🤎
I wish I could pack Verve into a Mary Poppins bag and bring it back to Philly. Delicious coffee, fantastic and friendly service, tasty food options, AND hecka cute merch. Highly recommend.
Our favorite coffee (light roast!) to drink there, to go, and to subscribe to at home. Highly recommended.

A Santa Cruz staple. Every time I'm in town, I grab a coffee.
Really outstanding flavor for the coffee, very creamy foam on our lattes; disappointed that they were sold out of everything to eat by 3pm. Also ordered a small and a large but received and charged for 2 large. They also didn’t label the decaf so it was hard to tell which one was decaf, if one was decaf it tasted very close to the other ( great decaf if one was really decaf).
Coffee and tea are great. Baked scones delish. I had a chai latte and it was real chai! I'm talking ground pepper and cardamom and such. Huge difference between theirs and starbucks' syrup concentrate chai. Also a chill place to wait on a weekend morning. Walked over in my pajamas and met several lovely people with friendly doggies in tow.
Love that I happened to stumble upon the HQ location and thankfully they have a cafe! Super sweet team who made no fuss out of my questions and made me feel so welcome! Great options and I highly recommend the espresso tonic. I had it decaf and with the slight sweetness from the tonic it almost has a cascara personality. Paired with some goodies from The Buttery and I was in heaven. Great local business that everyone can be proud of. Woot!!

Decent, strong coffee. It's a coffee roasting warehouse, and although they have some seating outside it's not a cafe where you can lounge.
There are more parking spots than chairs and stools to sit on. Didn’t realize this is more of a roaster location so more of just a take out spot. Head downtown for the indoor, beautiful coffee shop vibe.
Best Oatmilk Cappuccino I've ever had! He said he could make the oatmilk thick, like a creamer...and he did!
